"This was a perfect place to stay. It was quiet and beautiful. The host ensured that we felt welcomed. Our 2 dogs often rested on a blanket observing the valley below. The night sky was like a blanket of jewels; no street lights to mar the ambiance of the setting. This home is very pet-friendly and the host always responded quickly to our questions. This home is perfect for anyone looking to get away from the noise and bustle of the city or town. The home was clean and toiletries were thoughtfully provided by the host. The location is ideal for visiting Durango and Mesa Verde which were our planned destinations."

"Our stay here was awesome. The gentleman who checked us in at night had an awesome personality and kept checking on us as we were around doing laundry and the fitness center, he did a great job. The washer and dryer were clean and we were able to spend time in the fitness center while waiting for the laundry to finish. The fitness center was clean and had awesome machines and equipment. "This was a very nice place to stay on our way through. We only spent one night, but the room was spacious and clean and well maintained. The bed was comfy for a good night sleep. Property was quiet. The rooms are located on the opposite side of the casino, so we didn't hear any unusally loud noise in the night. Parking was easy and we were able to park directly outside our room window, so we could see our vehicle."

"This was much more of a hostel vibe than a hotel. There is a large shared kitchen, which was great for refreezing my cooler packs and making a snack. Also had shared bathrooms. The town is very dark at night. I would suggest adding brighter nightlights in the halls and bathroom so you can see where you're going after dark. Bed was pretty soft for me and the comforter was a bit too thick for late summer, early fall. Caretakers were very nice and helpful. Overall, a nice place and very convenient for Mesa Verde."
