"WE BOOKED ON LINE AFTER A VERY LONG DAY OF DRIVING AND WE WERE TOLD BY THE RECEPTIONIST THAT WE HAD BOOKED THE ROOM WITH SMOKING AND ENDED UP HAVING TO PAY EXTRA FOR A NON-SMOKING ROOM, SO THAT WAS DISAPPOINTING BUT WE NEEDED A ROOM FOR THE NIGHT, BREAKFAST WAS AMAZING, STAFF WAS FRIENDLY, ROOM WAS IN THE BACK, IT WAS LATE AND IT FELT SOME WHAT UNSAFE AND OUT OF VIEW."

"Quiet off the grid cabin with plenty of great views, hikes in the area ranging from easy to very challenging.The woodburning stove is extremely cozy, Starlink is great internet and the solar power will easily keep up with usage during sunny days; with a reserve of 3-4 days even during heavy overcast/storms.The free-range cattle may pay you a visit during the fall season, and you'll have plenty of opportunities for leaf-peeping right out the window.HIGHLY recommend the restaurant at the bottom of the hill, in my opinion it's the best in La Plata county.Whether you want to go up to Purgatory Ski resort, or head out to the desert to check out the Canyons of the Ancients ruins or Green Mesa National Park, this site is located at a perfect medium spot in-between. The host is friendly and very communicative."

We were in Mancos during a weekend and it can get a bit noisy with bands playing at the catina across the street, but things settled down around 9-10pm. We'll come back if we visit again!"
