"The Hotel is old and it shows it in many ways. It obviously used to be a first class operation, but it has been allowed to run down. There is some renovation activity going but it hadn't reached our room yet. On the other hand, the Breakfast was excellent. One of the best I have ever had."

"The Quality Inn in Cortez is a decent hotel, but definitely older. They've done as good a job as they can with keeping it semi-updated, clean, etc. but if you're looking for a newer more modern place to stay... this is probably not the best choice. With that being said, it is arguably a great value for the money. They seem to have the lowest rates in Cortez for a name brand hotel, the staff is great, and the breakfast is always good and well maintained."
