Perfect little room and exceptionally friendly staff. The little courtyard was cute but some more plants would make it perfect, also bigger mugs for tea please. We had the chicken parma for lunch which was delicious and again all the staff were fantastic. Would definitely visit again!

Convenient
Walking distance to Healesville. Roomy. Lacks fresh air. Dingy and uninviting courtyard, unfortunately. Fridge a bit noisy and couldn’t use door (bottle) storage. Neighbours banging on our front & back doors at 1:30am one night. Needed more than 1 shampoo and conditioner for 4 night stay. Tea cups tiny (need a mug). Small changes could make a big difference to guests. Perhaps discount vouchers to encourage guests to eat in rather than eating elsewhere.

Just what you need
The motel is nothing fancy but covers all the basics you need. Clean, friendly good location and parking. Recent renovations have updated the decor but left a few quirks. I’d stay here again

The room was clean and quite large. The shower head was very low, as well as the water pressure which made it difficult to have a shower.

Clean, quiet room, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, good shower. Very good for a country town pub. Good bistro standard restaurant, I enjoyed my meal. Its a pity they don't serve breakfast, but for an inexpensive room that would need to hike the price of the room. In all very good value.

Great location close to town. Room a spacious size. Disappointing about the position of the spray head in the shower,had to bend backwards/crouch down to get my hair wet(no I'm not a giant). Also carpet needed replacement (worn the near doorway to the courtyard) but very pleasant overall.

Stay away from the bistro. Over one hour wait for food, not even that busy. Ordered Chicken salad, was dry as leather, chickpeas were as dry as dirt. Med/well steak had a thick layer of charcoal underneath. Cooked on a dirty grill, totally inedible, staff were rude and told me I didn't know what a med/ well steak is, only paid for salad because my girlfriend ate most of it. Left hungry and pissed off. Worst meal I have ever been served.

Quick stay, great spot
Rooms have been renovated and once we opened up the courtyard it took away the air con smell. Shower was a bit hot and cold however rooms are nice and hotel is always fun! Good for short term stay.

We were very disappointed that we were not told about renovations being done when we booked. It was the first weekend of restrictions being lifted which we fully understand but to charge the amount we paid and not tell us is really taking piss. We left a day earlier due to the bed being hard as a rock and the shower head was low enough for the average height. The location is perfect and I’m sure the staff are friendly.

Great location but beware of live bands!
Accommodation itself was terrific but the noise on both Friday night and Saturday afternoon from the live bands was horrendous. Has definitely put us off staying here again unfortunately.

We were here for two nights for a wedding and it was perfect for what we wanted, a 10 minute walk into the shopping area and Four Pillars Gin Distillery is next door. The wedding guests partied on here the next day it was great! We will be back😃

Handy place to stay when visiting Healesville. Walking distance to everything in town. The room has everything you need. We spent most of our time our exploring so only needed a place to sleep. Accommodation was perfect for that. Pub also has great meals and friendly staff. I'd stay here again.
