"Great little cottage, very comfortable and clean. Nice to have the open fireplace with plenty of firewood available on a cold evening. Lovely touch with the fresh bread and homemade jams for the morning. Secure yard for the dog, a bit of a mix up through the booking but all sorted out with owner easy enough. Great base to explore the area "

"On arrival staff were not welcoming and could not read their own booking system. Tried to say we had not booked 2 rooms and then tried to charge again despite it being prepaid. No apology given for their errors. Nothing wrong with the hotel itself but the staff are not up to the job, am still waiting for the room deposit to be released 3 weeks later."
