"La Mezzaluna is a short walk from Barga Gallicano train station, and buses to Lucca. Rita is amazingly hospitable & welcoming, and did so much to make our stay enjoyable. Rooms are very nice, buffet breakfast set us up for the day. There is a bus up to Barga during the day, and a taxi back in evening.If you visit Barga, this is the place to stay. "

The front desk staff retrieved the air pods and lipstick I left in the room and contacted me immediately about them."

"Stayed in junior suite which was just beautiful. Loved the decor and the balcony. Staff were wonderful and breakfast a bonus. Great view, though road can get noisy at times. Only thing that bothered us was it was a challenge having a shower as there was no shower curtain."

"Staff was excellent, but the main reason I wanted to stay there was because I thought it had an onsite bar and restaurant (which it did, but we were discouraged from using). The hotel was still in a state of disrepair (maintenance crew and noise). Because it was so new, there weren't many people there, which was a bummer. I was hoping for a little bit of a social scene."
