"Charming & delightful hotel with friendly staff and filled with wonderful art! Beautiful courtyard garden where we had a delicious breakfast. Wholeheartedly recommend; we’ll be back for sure. "
"Camera spaziosa, arredata con gusto, bagno pulito e grande, colazione in pasticceria molto buona, posizione e vista sulla splendida piazza centrale di Pietrasanta "
"Pedro was an excellent host and owner of the hotel and very attentive to all the needs of all the customers. And Mimi was a very pleasant surprise greeting me at the door every time I entered. Very charming little spot, extremely clean and an extremely beautiful area. The breakfasts are unbelievably yummy with a lot of selection."
"Nice little town. Perfect to bike around. Public beach 400 meters further. All other beaches private accessible for a fee. All dining and shopping options at the back of the hotel."
"Comfortable stay in a pleasant location, which is convenient to explore the surroundings! Freshly made breakfast is a plus, the cakes are homemade and the warm dishes (eggs, pancakes, ham and cheese toast) are prepared upon request from the menu! Would recommend it :)"

"A lovely family run aparthotel in a nice peaceful neighbourhood, walking distance to all the amenities of Marina di Pietrasanta and just 5 min drive into the centre of the very attractive old town. There is also free use of bikes which is great, as there is a cycle path stretching along the coast. Our apartment was very clean and comfortable, with a lovely large terrace and beautiful view. The rooftop pool area was also lovely, with views of the mountains on one side and the town and sea on the other. Even though we didn't take the opportunity to have the available breakfast, it always looked fresh and plentiful. Rebecca was lovely and gave us all the information we needed for our exploration of the local areas. Enjoyed meeting her dad Marco too. We really enjoyed our stay and will hopefully return soon."
"I chose this hotel based on a friend’s recommendation, mainly because of its private beach. What I didn’t expect was that access to the beach comes with very steep extra charges — sunbeds start at €150 per day depending on their location. When you add this to the already high room rates, the value just doesn’t add up.
Reaching the beach is also inconvenient: you have to walk or get a cart across the street, which takes away from the “private beach” appeal. Once there, the food at the beach bar was disappointing and well below expectations.
On the positive side, the hotel itself is stylish, the décor is beautiful, and the breakfast was excellent. However, our room was extremely small — we could barely open our suitcases — and the hotel layout feels scattered and oddly designed.
Several other travelers told us that there are very good hotels right on the beach, closer to the city center, and at much more reasonable prices.
Overall, hotel Augustus is chic and visually impressive, but between the cramped rooms, scattered design, hidden costs, and underwhelming beach experience, it doesn’t live up to what you pay.

"Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Abend bei RE-Versiliana; das Essen, von der Pizza bis zu den Meeresfrüchten, war authentisch und absolut köstlich. Der Service war unglaublich herzlich und aufmerksam, sodass wir uns von der ersten Minute an willkommen fühlten. Eine klare Empfehlung für jeden, der echte italienische Gastfreundschaft in einer entspannten Atmosphäre erleben möchte.
