"Overall, our favourite hotel in Bali despite the weather (unfortunately it was rainy season). The resort is amazing. The staff are very helpful. We stayed quite far from the front so the golf carts were available to help take us around. When you first walk into the room you're greeted by an amazing bathroom and coffee bar. I am just disappointed I was not able to try more of the coffee. Great coffee drinks provided at breakfast and afternoon tea. The onsite food was also good. We did not run out of things to do. The free plantation tour was nice along with our paid mountain bike tour to the waterfall. The activities program is extensive. We only stayed 2 nights this time but in the future we will try to stay for 3!"

"We had an amazing time. This hotel is a perfect definition of boutique hotel. Attention to details, professional and nice staff, Great service. The villa was great, beautiful pool and surroundings. The staff and the owner herself was always there to help, organise tours or taxis and give good advice. Very highly recommended."

"This property was even better in real life than the listing. It is beautiful, great pool, right on the beach, so peaceful and relaxing. The staff were outstanding and Kadek the cook made the best meals. Our food prepared by her surpassed all of our restaurant meals. Ketut the customer service was so helpful. She suggested activities, and arranged everything we asked of her. It made everything run so smooth and with very little thought. There was a property book that provided a lot of additional information that we didn't know we needed. We hope to return to Bali, and we WILL stay here again, we hated to leave."

"Just returned from a lovely week-plus at this property. It is lovely and just as described in the listing. The staff were wonderful - Sepi and Ayu are great cooks and went above and beyond making our stay great. Our driver Jutta was a wonderful guide and had great ideas for places to go. He acted almost like a concierge, arranging reservations for us as well."

"First, listen when you’re advised to have a driver. Best advice ever, but we rented a car. BIG MISTAKE! We’ve driven in RHD countries before, so we thought renting a car wouldn’t be a hassle. Both Apple Maps and Google Earth have a software problem staying on the cross island road. Apple Maps directed us onto a one lane road (with two way traffic) in the mountains. No guardrails, sheer drops, and oncoming trucks and motor scooters made for slow and dicey going. Then we hit a pothole and had a flat tire. It was dark and we didn’t even know where the jack was in the rental car. A kind Balinese family took care of us and found a mechanic who changed our tire in their yard. We arrived four hours late. We should have listened to Angelique… The Villa Mango Trees FAR EXCEEDED our expectations. Anik and the rest of the staff were attentive, friendly, courteous, and they did everything that they could to provide an enjoyable stay for us. Our only regret is that we didn’t book a longer visit."

"Amazing service, both the hotel and the seaside restaurant. The front desk seemed truly interested if we had a good time and welcomed us back. I do want to go back. Two small issues. Don't folow Google maps to get there. It takes you just to the eastern edge of the property, not the entrance. Second. The beds were kind of hard. But we had the garden rooms and they were spacious and the grounds are beautiful. "
