"Cute room very clean and comfortable. Only issue was the floors above us were very creaky and someone up there was moving pretty constantly late in the evening and early in the morning. Breakfast was great. All employees were friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. It’s located close to shops and restaurants in town. "

"This property is a gem! They thought of everything, and the location was ideal. Minutes from the water made it ideal for morning and evening walks, and a day trip into Essex and Gillette Castle were highlights. The home was roomy, nicely decorated, kitchen had a nice flow to it, the beds were comfy, great directions for entry into the home, and a ping pong table to have some fun in the evening. "We had a lovely long weekend stay at this property at the end of March 2025. Our room was a very spacious efficiency. The wifi was good. There was plenty of parking available. We enjoyed being able to walk to nearby restaurants or go to the boardwalk. There is laundry available. There is no fitness area. Highly recommend."

"This house was comfortable and could easily accommodate a large party (we were only 4), though the living/dining space is very small in comparison to the very large bedrooms. We did not use the kitchen, but it looked nice. The beds were very comfortable, though others would want to bring additional blankets if renting in the winter as we did. The bathroom sinks and showers did not drain properly. The biggest pro for the house is its proximity to the beach—you’re practically in the waves, which is what we were looking for. The beach and ocean views were at the top of our list when we paid top dollar for this house. Unfortunately, the owners have intentionally left a major eyesore out of the promotional photos. A huge power plant dominates the view day and night. It belches smoke or steam into the air 24 hours a day and is lit up like a Christmas tree, shining into the house all night. This was our first trip to this area, and because it was not in the photos, we had no idea it was there. We would not have paid the price we paid for that view. I can’t imagine that other reviewers haven’t mentioned this, unless they are more familiar with the area and used to the oceanfront industries up and down that coastline. We wish the photos would have been more honest."
