"This cabin has everything you need. I was there in a rain storm for two nights and three days and it was king tide so the water was all the way to the bulkhead. It was absolutely wonderful to be safe and warm and tucked in so I could read, write and just watch the ocean. I have wanted to be in this cabin since I was a kid and it was a dream come true. "The home is very comfortable and cozy. We were able to make it our own for our visit. The view of the creek outside of the living room is so peaceful and lovely. The home is in a great location just a minute from downtown Hoodsport and then lovely scenic drives from Lake Cushman, Mount Ellinor, Port Townsend, and so much more. We really loved our day and if I go back to visit, I’ll definitely try to stay there again."

"We had a wonderful time at this property! Our annual mushroom hunting trip to the area. You can tell the host took time to decorate the place, lots of big and small details that remind you of home. Beds were pretty comfortable. Decent size kitchen, lots of entertainment inside if the weather happens to be not great… but we spent most of our time outside. Looks like recently renovated house. Walking to the lake was super easy (although we hike a lot, so cannot speak for everyone), but it’s really a very minor slope walk about 5 mins from the house. And the lake was all ours for many hours, we literally did not meet a single person on our trip to the lake on a Saturday morning! Had an excellent time with our dog swimming in Lake Cushman! Warm water even though it’s the end of September. Recommend the place! I wish we could stay longer next time!"

"We stayed at this cabin over Labor Day weekend with a group of friends, and it was the perfect getaway. The property has everything you’d want to enjoy both relaxation and adventure: hammocks, a hot tub, paddle boards, kayaks, and more. It’s an ideal spot to soak in nature during the day and hang out together in the evenings.The cabin itself is thoughtfully laid out and equipped with all the modern amenities, including a well-stocked kitchen that had everything we needed for cooking. It felt both comfortable and convenient without losing its log cabin charm.The surrounding area adds even more to the experience: plenty of amazing hiking trails, and the town of Hoodsport has great unpretentious restaurants with fresh seafood.Overall, this was a wonderful spot to unwind, connect with friends and enjoy the outdoors. Highly recommend!"
