"We got to town early afternoon and decided to see about checking in early. Jen noticed we were there and invited us in. The Nathan showed us around the property explaining some of the historical details of some of the features of the house and furnishings. The attention to detail for the common areas was remarkable. Every space had interesting antique furnishings and artifacts that invited you to explore the home. The grounds were beautiful and inviting as well. When Nathan told us about the breakfast in the morning, I mentioned that we were a little nervous about making our flight the next day and may skip breakfast. He immediately offered to serve 30 minutes earlier so we would not feel rushed. The breakfast was awesome. While the house and grounds were exceptional, Nathan and Jen made it feel like a home. "
"I was visiting Olympia to see a sick family member, and my friend and I stayed here for just a single night. The hosts were very friendly and responsive when we discovered the water hadn’t been turned on, but we were the first guests of the season, so we understood. It’s a terrific little hamlet on a lovely and clear lake. We used the two-person kayak and it was absolutely lovely. The lakeside fire pit was also very nice. We didn’t use the outdoor shower, yet did use the adorable stove and oven for tea and quiche, and it was a lovely and memorable meal. Highly recommended this little gem of a cabin. Many thanks to our wonderful hosts."
