Lost Lake Fishing Shack, a great place to make memories with friends & family!

LOST LAKE FISHING SHACK is a great place to have fun and make memories with friends and family! The cabin is small but very cozy and well appointed. When staying here, it is all about the view and the clean, deep lake where you can swim, boat, ski, tube, jet ski and fish year round. Lost lake is known as one of the best bass and trout fishing lakes in western Washington and is stocked regularly by fish and wildlife. There is even a fishing derby every year where if your fish has a blue tag, you win a prize! There are kayaks, a sup board, a dingy and a pedal boat provided for your use. The cabin comes with a dock where you can park your own boat or hang out on the padded lounge chairs. The dock is shared with the lot next door.

The FISHING SHACK is a great home base for exploring the Olympics and surrounding area!

The house is well stocked with everything you will need from linens and blankets, to pots and pans to a Keurig coffee maker. We also have a great library selection, DVDs, quite a few board games and puzzles for your entertainment. There is a large smart TV for movie nights and of course wifi. Please be aware, the two queen beds are located up a VERY steep set of stairs that some people may not be comfortable going up and down. However, there is a bunk bed and a very cozy couch located on the main floor.

We booked this home for a birthday weekend and had such a great time! The lake view was absolutely stunning. It was the best part of the stay. We lucked out with perfect weather and enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards. The house itself was clean and comfortable, and Lisa, the owner, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. She even surprised me with a birthday cake, which was such a thoughtful touch. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it!

We had an amazing, relaxing long weekend at the Love Shack. Wonderful beds and the BEST shower. Cabin is very thoughtfully appointed and the view is beyond beautiful.

You'll love the Love-Shack

You'll love staying here, we only stayed for a night as we were passing through on a hiking road trip. The property was so nicely kept and had more fun things to do than any vrbo we've stayed at before. We wish we had set up our trip to be able to spend more time here, it was so serene out the lake!

Father’s Day weekend getaway

Lost Lake Love Shack had everything we needed for the perfect weekend away. The view from the cabin was unreal. Despite the rain, we had the best time fishing from the doc, roaring s’mores and playing board games with the fam!

The Love Shack on Lost Lake was a blast. Everyone that we talked to was so very nice and the view is great. The Love Shack was very cozy and a great place to just relax and unwind. It was great to spend our vacation here with our family.

Wonderful stay!

Our hostess Lisa was amazing, you couldn’t ask for a more fantastic hostess. The love shack was appointed with everything we needed. The beds were comfy and there was tons of entertainment. Having coffee on the deck in the morning was amazing… and we even had a furry friend come to visit and gave cuddles.:) overall a wonderful stay!

So much fun at the lake!

The kids loved the lake! There was so much to do with the peddle boat, paddle board and the diving board was my daughter's favorite part. The little touches like chocolates on the pillows and the doggie bed with treats was very thoughtful. We had a great time and we are already talking about coming back again next year. Lost Lake Love Shack

The lake was great and having the water equipment onsite was perfect. It made it so much easier to get up and go for our stay at the lake and not needing to packup large equipment or rent it. The house was very accommodating with all the supplies and equipment inside and outside.

Ladies Getaway

The Lost Lake Love shack was perfect for our group of 5 ladies. We really enjoyed the scenery of the lake and how quiet it was. The private dock was very nice for lounging while reading a book or sipping wine. The fire pit table on the porch is a cozy way to enjoy a meal as you gaze out on the lake. Lisa was very easy to communicate with and she was very accommodating. I loved all the thoughtful extra touches, from the chocolates left by the bed to the S”Mores kit for our group to use! We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy lake weekend

The cabin is small, but makes a good use of the space. Comfy couches, well stocked kitchen, and great lake access (with quite a few stairs to get to the dock). Very dog friendly with a nice bed, bowls, and treats for our pup (though not fenced, and neighbors on both sides had dogs, so we were glad to have our extra tether/lead with us). We stayed as a group of 4 adults, which seemed just right - I do think it would have been a bit cramped if there were more of us. Lisa was communicative throughout.

We had a wonderful time staying at Lost Lake Love Shack. The cabin had everything we could possibly need for our visit. We also appreciate their welcoming our dogs for providing water/meal bowls, a treat, and comfy bedding for them to use. Panoramic lake views from the cabin was breathtaking. We prepared our meals in the nicely equipped kitchen and have the best views while dining. We also enjoyed our time at their private dock with all the necessary water activities equipment available for us to use. My husband enjoyed fishing from the dock every day. The owner, Lisa, was very helpful and easy to communicate with and always promptly responded with my inquiries thoroughly. Thank you so much!

Perfect Lake Day

The little love shack is very cute and has the right amenities for a lake weekend. We brought our two dogs and they loved the dock. The dock is really nice and sturdy - it could definitely use some fishing pole holders! Everything felt really neat and pretty clean. We cooked all our meals in the house and the retro oven/range worked great! All of our food fit in the fridge for the weekend. They left thoughtful touches around the place to recognize me booking it for my anniversary weekend! Everything worked, including the wall AC unit near the kitchen which kicked butt! Thanks so much Lisa.

Relaxing Getaway

We loved our stay at the Lost Lake Love Shack! The place was small but perfect for a few days away for our group of four. The house was very clean and organized and there were lots of special touches to make our group and dog feel welcome. We had the best time relaxing on the dock and playing with all of the provided kayaks, paddle boat and splash pad. What a fantastic spot! My one tip would be to bring extra drinking water as the filter pitcher they provided was very slow and our group tended to run out of water frequently. (I’m pretty sure you could drink the tap water too but we preferred the filtered.). That wasn’t enough of an issue for us to impact our great stay. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we hope to stay again next year!

wonderful little gem

such a lovely location on a perfect lake. Lisa did an amazing job quickly answering questions and also helping after checkout us retrieve some left over items. The beds are super comfortable, kitchen adequately stocked with equipment. temperature easily and quickly adjusted. nice to have Google Assistant. Dog treats, dog beds and even dog towels were a really nice. nice neighbors, lovely to have access to three kayaks, small boat, and a paddleboat. the floating foam pads in the cove were Awesome and heavily used. only issue was that yes that ladder to get up the stairs to the main beds. I did have a little trouble with balance on these - my folks would not have been able to do that and would have been stuck using bunk bed, but they we wouldn't also have been able to get to top bunk. but this is all well documented. thank you Lisa. we'd definitely go again

Great Lake Spot!

My family of three had a wonderful (too short!) getaway at this cute little cabin! The place is really well decorated and stocked, and we loved the extra little touches, like the mints on the pillows. The beds were some of the most comfortable I ever slept in - I have chronic pain and woke up each day feeling great, which never happens. Lisa even sent me the bed details after our trip, which I sure appreciate!! It was 100 degrees the week we were there, and I'm glad I asked to make sure the AC was working before we arrived, because it had just gone on the fritz. Lisa's communication about this was great - she made sure to have the window unit running before we arrived, and it did a great job of cooling the downstairs. The loft was a hotbox though, so I'm glad I brought our portable AC! Needless to say, we spent a lot of time in the water and absolutely loved it! My six year old had a blast on the paddle boat and floaties, and my husband and I had a great time on the kayaks. In the morning the lake was super quiet and peaceful. The only downside was that the neighbor BLASTED his music all afternoon off his dock - which could be fun if you are in the party mood, but not so much if you go to the lake to relax like we had. There isn't a lot of privacy because the neighbors are so close, but they were nice all the same. Overall, we had a wonderful getaway and only wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you Lisa!!
