I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and was genuinely impressed by the thoughtful details throughout. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully set up, but what really stood out was the unique personal touch — they even had a record player with a Jim Croce album ready to play. That alone made the experience feel special and memorable. It’s clear they care about creating a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere, not just a place to sleep. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for something a little extra and full of character.

I could tell they are trying to do some needed remodeling, but my stay was good, clean room. I was in town for meetings so didn't spend much time in the room. Great stay!

Enjoyed our stay at Shelton Inn immensely. So nice that a motel in the "old" style can be updated to fit the needs of today. Shelton Inn provides for the basics of an overnight stay (or two or three) in simple elegance. Our room was clean, quiet and spacious. The town/city of Shelton is nicely located to provide access to all that the peninsula has to offer. I would recommend the Shelton Inn to anyone and if in the area again it would be a very short search for a great place to stay.

The service was good at check-in they said they changed my room from a king to two queens and that this room was remodeled and all new inside, the room had a terrible odor, stains on the walls, lamp shades and the chair, the shower handles come off and the faucet was loose from the wall.

What an improvement!

I have seen the older reviews for this location, but they are now under new ownership, and they have done a lot of remodeling. There is still work being done, but it is much better than older reviews indicate. Also, Blondie's Restaurant, under the same new owner is very good. Portions are large and the prices are good. I did not look forward to going to Shelton, WA in the past, but I may just make a trip through Shelton, just to go here again.

The new owners are in the middle of renovations all around the property, didnt disrupt my stay at all. The staff was absolutely wonderful and friendly. I liked the direction its going and I can tell they are putting their all into the Hotel. Their towels are so fluffy and there were plenty of them. The bed was a little too soft for my liking but it was still comfortable, sheets were so soft and the beding was the perfect touch! All and all I would definitely stay there again.

Recently re-done. Great stay.

Great changes to an older motel. Beds are very comfortable. Towels and shampoo etc are new and readily available. I realize it’s new owners just getting started so overall excellent. I’d suggest separate bins in the rooms for trash and recycling. Kleenex in the room would be helpful. We’ll stay again. Affordable and a good location.

I loved how clean the room was and how quiet. I did not like that there was no land line phone, no kleenex, and only a tad bit of toilet paper on the only roll in the room. Thank gosh I had bought some and had forgotten to take it out of my car before the trip.
