My husband’s birthday was coming up and I mentioned it several times in advance, but they made a lot of mistakes. They brought the cake on the wrong day, and when the actual day arrived, I had to remind them. They also congratulated me instead of my husband. At checkout we were also charged $70 for items from the minibar that we never used, which was quite unpleasant to see from a hotel of this level. I contacted the hotel about these issues afterward but unfortunately did not receive a clear response. Please be attentive and double-check your final bill."

"This place is wonderful ! Beautiful airy space with huge windows, overlooking a stream and surrounded by lush foliage. The beach was a cool walk away and it was in a beautiful neighborhood. All I can say is that they really did think of everything . Would recommend! "

"The room was clean but the property had clutter that needed to be cleaned up. My room had no issues, had no ocean view, the park and ocean view are a block away. I cooked on the barbeque and used the pavilion, that was great. The beach near the hotel has cloudy water from the river, a few miles down the road are perfect beaches."

"Cottage was really clean and everything was smooth, except that the cottage given to us is on the basement and I had to stomp and flush a giant centipede after being scared quite a bit about the stay on the ground floor. "
