Nohonani - a 1br/2ba home with mountain views in Wainiha
10/10 Excellent
"Chose this Vrbo for the view, and the wife was a big fan of the place. The AC in the bedroom was very effective, and the place would have been too hot had it not been working, so we really liked having the AC. If you are wanting to do a drive up to the canyon there aren't many places that will be a further drive, but the drive wasn't too long for us, and we got to stay on the North Shore, which we discovered was our favorite part of the island! We would stay again."
Romantic Cottage, Private Acre of Paradise, View! Pool!
10/10 Excellent
"Relative to what else is available on the island this is a really great option for couples. Host provided detailed and useful information pre-trip, space was clean, bed was comfortable, AC blew cold, outside area felt very private, and overall it was everything we could ask for out of the property itself. The caretaker even provided some fresh bananas and papayas from their property. The only thing that might keep us from booking this property again is it's location. The north shore is very wet and that's what keeps it looking so lush and beautiful. However, if you pull up a rainfall map of Kauai this property sits back at a different/higher annual rainfall amount than Hanalei or especially Princeville (where we had stayed before)...and we felt it even during "dry season". We were really looking forward to outdoor dining and star/moon gazing as we had done during past Hawaii trips, but we were able to have one dinner outside and saw glimpses of the moon and stars a few times during our 11 nights. There was thick cloud cover every night and rain almost every night and morning so everything stayed wet. We still enjoyed plenty of time in the hot tub and pool and loved the trip with this as our base. I am not including this info as a knock on the property because it really was fantastic but rainfall averages is something I will consider for future trips so wanted others to also be able to factor that in."
Paddle to the Beach from a Secluded Riverfront Eden-A/C-Central to Hanalei&Ke'e
10/10 Excellent
"Really enjoyed our stay in River Estates. Mark was more than helpful to arrange anything I asked for...SUP's for the week, zodiac boat trip last minute, and helping us navigate the shuttle to Ha'ena State Park. Hanalei had a great farmer's market we hit up the first day to stock up on local produce as well as being a cool town to cruise around. The SUP's were great for paddling down to the private beach area, but there are also many beaches very close by to visit as well. The house was very clean and perfect for our needs. It felt like living in the jungle for a week. If it wasn't a 22 hour journey, we'd be back again soon!"
Traditional Hawaiian House - Walk to Tunnels Beach
10/10 Excellent
"What a great view and a beautiful property. We were so appreciative of the amazing air conditioning as it was quite toasty when we were there. Our host was super communicative and the house was ready to go when we arrived. The location is so peaceful and close to amazing beaches and hiking trails. Don’t miss this spot in paradise."
Kauai Tree House - Nestled Along a Stream with Tropical Surroundings.
10/10 Excellent
"The treehouse was simply wonderful, just what my family was looking for. The roosters were a bit loud and took getting used to, but we felt like we were in the forest. Gorgeous property and location, we would definitely come back to stay again. Thank you!"

10/10 Excellent
"We have stayed in a few rentals around Tunnels Beach, but this one, by far, is our favorite. The house is spacious and clean. The location is perfect. The walk to the beach is 5 minutes. We watched the sunrise, and watch the sunset from the same beach in the evening."
"Location is truly amazing, beach views, sunsets. And on our trip we had a wonderful crescent moon, Jupiter rises!Facilities were comfortable and well planned."
