"We were not able to go to this hotel on Mac Island because of a natural disaster. The smoke from Canadian fires was so bad that it was dangerous. Though we did not have insurance, I felt the hotel should give us some kind of refund. I am sure there were several people with rooms like ours who couldn't go. We called them and they said it was company policy."
