"Lovely hotel located very close to the train. Breakfast is very much Japanese focussed (but also catered for western palates). Rooms are very small (a little dated but that didn’t bother us). Easy walk to the central historic town. "

This stay comes with so many extra amenities such as free yamata rental, complimentary sake, public baths etc. Also excellently located close to the station. We felt relaxed and at home our whole stay. It was genuinely one of our favourite stays in the whole of Japan. "Absolutely clean, massive rooms. The wet area was phenomenal in our room, with a large bath the two of us could sit and soak in each night. Two double beds with very comfortable pillows! The staff were friendly, there was a small range of amenities. The only thing I would change is brick in the open segment behind the sinks - this brings light into the room early morning (nothing serious). "
