"Had a whole holiday cottage to myself for the price of a hotel room. Really generous and varied breakfast provisions, with spacious kitchen and dining area to enjoy it in. With a washing machine and airer in the property, I was able to get a load of washing done overnight, as the cottage was really warm. The only negative was the WiFi, which I found very poor, and phone signal is limited too."

"The property was in an excellent position, well equipped and very clean. Communication with the owner was excellent when we did encounter a problem with the shower which was quickly solved. The outside patio area could do with a little maintenance to improve the overall experience as we spent a lot of time sitting and eating outside in beautiful weather and surroundings. We felt that the provision for recycling also needed improving but otherwise the whole experience was excellent"

"The cottage is cosy, comfortable and easy to live in. The location is beautiful and secluded with a lovely little village only a few minutes drive away. Plenty of things to do within a few miles drive and lots of walking. Jo, the host, is welcoming and very helpful. We were 3 friends catching up and had a thoroughly enjoyable stay although the weather was very windy and we had rain and snow showers so couldn’t make the most of the outdoor space. "The property is lovely, plenty of room for me, my mother and my dog. Pauline goes above with lovely extras incluidng eggs, milk ankd cake. Home made biscuits, plenty of towels and bowls for the dog. Quiet location with 2 large fields for dogs to run free and secure. Just a short drive to leek. I will definitely stay again."
