Novotel Lyon Gerland Musée des Confluences
The hotel is ok, staff friendy and good options inside the hotel. However, it is not so close to the old town, it takes more than 15 minutes by car. Campanile Lyon Centre-Berges du Rhône
The location was perfect for crossing the bridges over the Rhône and to dine out. It was just a 20-minute walk to the funicular to ride up to the Notre-Dame de Fourvière Cathedral for a view of Lyon and to see the Roman ruins. The bed was big and super comfortable. Great place to relax.

7th Arrondissement
7th Arrondissement is well liked for its cafes and theatres. If you're hoping to get in some sightseeing, Halle Tony Garnier and Matmut Stadium are top spots, and you can jump on the metro at Debourg Station or Place Jean Jaures Station to get around.
