"This seems to be student accom that has been changed to a small basic tourist apartment. One half of the building is for students (campus) and the other is for tourists. As such it is functional without much ambiance.
But it’s well located close to a tramline and metro.
The main train line runs next to the building which is quite ugly but doesn’t really cause too much noise.
And it is easy distance to explore the centre of Lyon and the historical old town.
The local restaurants are good and small supermarket nearby.
The Saone river with all the restaurant boats is a few blocks away.
There are also a pile of homeless people just outside the front door living under the railway bridge on both sides of the street- lots of junk, very messy and a little intimidating when they have fights amongst themselves but they caused no harm to us. So overall not a great environment but an ok apartment a as d a beautiful city."
"Parking was easy at a cost. Room was great with river views. I would normally give a 5/5 however I feel the staff in the coffee shop/bar/restaurant let the hotel down. Most of the staff were very busy talking to each other and left guests waiting until they went up and had to asked for service. I thought it was just the italian way until I saw a few Italian guests go up and asked to be served. The food could be better as well. Only a small thing as the laurel is attached to a Shopping centre and there are restaurants across the bridge within walking distance."
"Enjoyed our stay at Radison in Lyon. It had all the modern convinces at hotel. It is has a street car line across the street from entrance which makes for an easy ride into Old Town Lyon or most other places you may want to go. It's an easy walk to the train station. They had a good breakfast buffet that was pretty expensive. They also have a restaurant and bar on site with nice views of the city. In general the food and drinks are more expensive for the view than what you can get in town."
