Great staff. The AC worked well. We asked for extra pillows and they were really nice about that. The hotel has a complementary washing machine which is great if you have been traveling for a long time.
MOB Hotel Lyon Confluence was a great value and a convenient place to stay during our time in Lyon. The location worked especially well for us—it’s right next to the art museum and about a 10-minute walk from the Confluence shopping center, with restaurants, shopping, and other amenities nearby.
The rooms are small, which is fairly typical for Lyon, but ours had a balcony with a delightful view of the river that made the room feel much more special. It was lovely to step outside and enjoy the view.
We also appreciated having the bar downstairs. It was especially convenient for a late-night drink after the hotel restaurant had closed and gave us a nice place to relax at the end of the day.
Most importantly, the staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay.
If you’re looking for an affordable hotel in the Confluence area with a good location, friendly service, and lovely river views, MOB Hotel is an excellent value.
We had a fabulous night at the MOB. The room was great, the restaurant excellent, and the service outstanding. The team at the MOB could not have been kinder and more accommodating. Thank you again for a great stay!
I had an excellent stay. The room was clean and comfortable. I have two minor complaints: I couldn’t figure out how to turn on one of the lights, and the thermostat was set just a tiny bit too low. I would stay here again.

Pretty cool hotel but didn't quite meet the hype. The rooftop bar was closed most of the time and there isn't a lot going on in the area. Friendly staff and a hassle free stay
Employees were very kind and helpful. The room was clean, view was good, but there was no TV and room was very small and not much space for clothes, except to hang them on walls
staff was friendly and the hotel was clean only the area I didnt like. A lot of drunk and wasted people

Beautiful view of the Saone river. And the staff were uniformly helpful, informative and responsive.
BUT no TV, no closet, no clear indication of where the entrance to the hotel is from the closest tram stop. Regulating the water temperature in the shower was a challenge because it kept changing. Finally, the location is not the most convenient.
Not so good stay. The room for three has a couch bed with slates that feel apart anytime you moved. The air condition sis nor work very well and there is no safe parking close by. Would not recommend this place. Not close to anything.
The staff is what makes this property great; they were fantastic! Otherwise, unfortunately, during an extreme heat wave, the air-conditioning was broken the first night of check in and it was impossible to sleep. As well, I booked a double bed and a futon. In the futon was a very thin straw matt laid on the floor. Not what we expected for a sleeping option. Also, the bathroom is like a locker room. It is completely open to the bedroom. Not convenient for sharing a room. The view was great although there wasn’t much around to do, but again the staff for so wonderful they suggested restaurants and transportation options. I might come back if it was winter and I didn’t need two beds.
We loved the front desk guy, Tristen. He was so helpful and personable. We loved the restaurant there. We liked that it was convenient to get to the tram. The AC worked amazing, however, you can never take your key out of the wall/ light socket because it will trip the fuse, and you will have to call down every time to get your AC turned back on. So not very energy efficient. We thought the pictures of the room on the website were misleading. The room is literally a small concrete box with a pretty bed in the middle. The “queen” bed is two beds put together. The toilet is not in it’s own enclosed room, it’s in a makeshift shower stall with an opening at the top and bottom. And finally, just so you know, there is no TV. We didn’t mind that as much, as we are on vacation and doing sightseeing things, however, it’s nice to come to the room at the end of the day and just veg in front of tv and practice our French. We would recommend it, because they were accommodating and the AC rocked, however, be aware of the toilet and TV situation.
