"Lovely hotel, excellent location. Staff helpful, lift not working on visit, no air con in room. Carpet and curtains worn and damaged, should be replaced but would recommend "

"The hotel is in a very convenient location close to the city centre and cathedral. It is a historic building but we stayed in the fairly modern extension, which was a nice, spacious room with good facilities for tea and coffee etc. Breakfast was plentiful and you could order from a good range of cooked options including full English. Staff were friendly and helpful."

"Great room. Very clean. Everyone in good working order. Love the way they have a non slip bath mat provided. I wish all hotels did this to avoid painful & unnecessary slips. Fantastic breakfast too. "

"Beautiful from top to bottom - wonderful extras like fresh milk in the fridge, a chocolate treat and great coffee. All staff were amazing - so friendly and welcoming and genuinely kind. We have already recommended Hotel indigo to our friends - just a shame that we were only staying one night! "

"Breakfast offering was great although the food quality could have been better. The room was generally very clean apart from stains on the carpet. Lovely shower. View of the harbour was fantastic, apart from the view over the disused Debenhams building roof. "
