Great hotel, Great location
Unclear was that our room was actually in a building a quick block north. But front desk staff escorted us directly to our room. The room was very spacious, beds cozy, ample plugs. Bathroom/Shower were common but the building so quiet we encountered nobody else. Great location to everything. 100% would stay again.

The hotel itself was okay, but i was in an outer building and couldn't find it the next time i went out. No room service no kettle to make a coffee. Rather isolated

The Annex does not have phone service to call front desk, no wifi, and no heater it was so cold. They kept on telling me that i have the only one who has problem. But if i am at the lobby of the main hotel i have internet service.

Horrible property. Rude hotel owner. Not what promised on the photos or description. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here. There are other hotels in the same location.

Very misleading - escorted to different hotel
I was very misled by my booking. When I arrived I was escorted to a different hotel building (2-3 streets away) which seemed to be much lower class than what I thought I booked. It was quite old and sheets had chocolate stains on them.

Room was very cold bed was not comfy furniture is very outdated even the fan and other light fixture not enough electrical outlet even they are not on very convenient place for this type of the room it is very overpriced not habing a electric kettle or cofee or tea

So the room ended up being offsite was not communicated until check-in. Additionally, the morning of checkout we awoke to someone attempting to unlock or our. I asked who it was and got no response except to hear a key attempting to open the lock. I went to the door and a male staff member was on the other side. He didn't knock, didn't announce himself, didn't apologize and simply said he thought we had checked out already. At 8:30 in the morning. When I spoke to the manager she wasn't very gracious about the situation. Poor experience for the money.

You choosed a room in our Annex with shared bathrooms. As you wanted a private bathroom , you choosed to stay at the hotel which much more expensif.

Stayed in Lucerne for 2 nights and was comfortable with shared bathroom. Check in and out is at another building but within walking distance. Only downfall is that the walls are thin and could hear neighbours in same building

Near the old city and the tourist attractions!
Location, location, location! Very clean and close to the tourist spots. All within walking distance!! The hotel was very clean and e cells to value for Europe and Switzerland. I'd recommend this hotel to all my friends who are looking for good value.

Avoid at all costs
As a camper I am not a stranger to hardship when travelling. But this hotel is ridiculous. We had to walk 3 blocks from reception to our room. Our room, just over a bar, a taxi stand, and a bus depot was full of fumes, noise and smoke. Even though we paid for more nights it was impossible to stay any longer than one night.

Simple but nice
Great location and great deal for Lucerne. We stayed in the Annex which is a block or two away from the hotel but rooms were clean and well kept. Shared bathrooms are a bit of an inconvenience but they were always well kept.

Thank you very much for your feedback. The hotel is working since 60 years, we can not change the circumstances that the traffic is increasing so much. At the moment we have big problem until end of july because of renovation of the lakebridge.

Dear guest We would like to know more specifically what your problem was with this room. It could be that you didn't see it was a room with shared bathroom but the information states clearly that there are shared toilets and showers to be used. We constantly work on keeping our rooms the best for our clients. These rooms are a low cost option for people who want to travel without spending too much money. If you want other standards for other prices you can also book one of our apartments, hotel rooms or junior suites.

I wasnt aware, that in the Luzernerhof Annex wasn't in the luzernerhof, and closer to the crowded and noisy Löwenplatz. and also had to leave a depot for my key. Also that i had to share toilet and shower was not expected . Maybe nexttime i should read better the descirptions of the place.
