We paid $800 to upgrade our room when our daughter decided to come with us. The hotel insisted we pay more once we got there. It was another $200 to add her. They acted like we were inconveniencing them and trying to “pull a fast one.” Basically, no customer service and just wanted to make more money ...

Solmar Resort
We really enjoyed our stay at Solmar. We purchased the breakfast only package and really enjoyed starting our day at restaurant with ocean view. I was surprised that our room came with two bathrooms which was nice for my daughter staying in living room area.
