"The room was clean and nice but in a very loud location. It was also not in the main hotel but a 7 minute walk away in a different building which was not clear at time of booking. No hotel amenities. It was an air b&b presented as a hotel suite. No lobby. No coffee. No room service. Parking was another 7 minute walk. The space was nice but definitely not something we would do again."

"Property was very clean and comfortable. Room was spacious and amenities were great. Staff was awesome especially Naomi at front desk check in who made us feel very welcome and informed us of the area. The parking situation is tough as no onsite parking and only one 24 hour garage across the street. The area is pretty sketchy so just be wary of that."

"Excellent! If you want easy access to museums in DTLA. However, i have to say if you call the hotel and want anything - like a receipt, credit for staying, or to just check whether they found something you might have left behind, finding an actual human to talk to might be impossible. Marriott is fine as long as you are on premises - after that its all next to impossible to get assistance. If you do get through, you will have to go through hoops to get what you need because marriott has many many processes."

"Staff was great. The room is tiny. It should be described as a cell. Dimly lit. No real desk. Really just a bed and buffet with a coffee maker. The bathroom is tiny. The room itself is clean. The restaurant quite good. You could not have a video meeting in any comfortable way in the room or work in any reasonable way. They might suggest a common area, which is nice, but noisy. This is a good stop for a solo traveler that doesn’t plan to spend any time at the hotel. One of the elevators was out; one of the guests commented that one of the elevators is always out. For me, this isn’t the right place for business travel. If you need a nice clean bed and friendly staff and good restaurant, then this might work for you."

"I booked this hotel for my husband based on its excellent reviews, but his experience was a total nightmare from start to finish. For a hotel that is supposed to be a destination and not just an airport layover, it failed on every basic level of hospitality. Here is a breakdown of the issues: Terrible Security & Check-In: Upon arrival, he was left standing outside ringing the doorbell for 10 minutes before anyone let him in. To make matters worse, his room key card immediately failed to work. Subpar Room Conditions: The entire wing smelled strongly of mold, the bathroom was gross, and the toilet ran continuously. Furthermore, the hotel's Wi-Fi was so unsecure that his computer’s security settings blocked him from even connecting to it. Constant Noise Disruption: His room was located directly above the gym facility, and the loud, jarring buzzer from downstairs blasted through the floor constantly. Abysmal Service & Amenities: There is no coffee provided in the room. When he went down to the 3rd-floor cafe at 9:00 AM on a Friday, there was only a single, overwhelmed employee working the counter. Uncomfortable Atmosphere: The property has a bizarre, unsettling vibe. On multiple occasions at different times, other guests would board the elevator and immediately start hyperventilating/wheezing, which felt less like a hospitality experience and more like the start of a horror movie. This place is entirely not worth the trek or the money. Avoid it."

"You can tell this building needs a renovation. The bathroom tile needs a deep cleaning, and the lever to turn on the water falls off. The light switch to turn on the lights works 50% of the time, and the internet went out on the last day for over 12 hours, preventing me from finishing work I needed to get done. I didn't notice bed bugs or any other insects, which is usually the first thing I check for in every hotel I stay at, so good job on that. Towels and sheets are clean, so I know the staff is doing that much; they just need to close out certain rooms to do a full deep clean and not just maintain the rooms."
