Overall, our stay at Hotel MdR was pretty good. The carpet throughout the hotel hallways is pretty gross and its lifting in areas making it difficult to roll your suitcase or having it trip you. The room was nice. Bed was comfortable. The location was also great. Convenient shops and easy access to Venice Beach.

Nice place would stay again

The hotel was really nice and great location with plenty of food options nearby. There is a parking fee so beware. Also note that you have to park for parking almost everywhere in L.A.

The pullout sleeper of my room had no mattress, just wood slats. I notified the front desk but was told housekeeping had already left for the night and was assured it would be taken care of in the next days service. After coming back the next evening, my room was not serviced, and no mattress was delivered. I stayed for 3 nights and housekeeping never came once. I had to go to the front desk every night and ask for towels and coffee. The only thing I was offered was a voucher for breakfast the morning I checked out. Horrible service.

Great property to stay in the marina del Rey area. The pool and dining area was modern and welcoming. The rooms were updated and clean. Great dining and shopping near by and close to airport.
