"Have always loved LBI but to stay in the heart of the island at a beautiful welcoming hotel made our stay that much better. Quick easy walk to the beach, badges included, was able to get the badges before check in allowing us to take full advantage of the beach. Will definitely return "

"First, adjust your expectations. This is a beach motel, not the Ritz Carlton.You'll get a clean exterior entrance room, an option for an upper floor balcony to watch the surf and a place to lay your head after you come back from doing what you're there for...which shouldn't be lounging in a plush hotel. It's the beach. The staff is friendly, the desk is staffed 24/7, they have coffee in the morning and will even give you towels to use on the beach. The only thing that wasn' ok was booking through Hotels.com. They charged an additional $55 per night compared to booking directly with the property, and then refused to honor their price guarantee when called on it. There is no value added here."

From check-in to check-out, the communication with the owner was absolutely fantastic—friendly, responsive, and super helpful every step of the way.The layout of the property worked perfectly for our group. The teens loved having their own separate space, while the little ones stayed upstairs with us, which made it easy to keep an eye on them. It honestly felt more like a tropical compound than just a house—tons of space to spread out and relax.The backyard was a dream, and the garage-turned-barn was such a fun and unique entertaining spot. We spent a lot of time out there just hanging out and enjoying the vibe.Everything was super walkable, including the beach, which was only two blocks away—an easy stroll for both the young and the older folks in our group. And the sunsets? Absolutely incredible. This place gave us a perfect mix of comfort, fun, and relaxation. We can’t wait to rent this home again! "

"Our first motel stay at the Sea Horse was great. Staff was friendly, motel was in a great location. The room seemed newly renovated the beds were comfortable, it was a cozy little room. The pool was a nice touch, we were only in the room for sleeping mostly and it was just right for our family. "
