The rooms were absolutely beautiful, luxurious, and unique, with incredibly comfortable beds and everything kept exceptionally clean. The staff were amazing, welcoming, and attentive, which made our stay even more special. It was the perfect place for a memorable getaway, and we would absolutely recommend Rockport House to anyone looking for a unique, luxurious place to stay. We can’t wait to visit again! ❤️"

"I stayed four days here and it was very comfortable. We had a living room, kitchen, bathroom and one bedroom. The kitchen has all basic amenities and the bathroom is also very clean. You could ask for housekeeping everyday if you need but it isn't including automatically. We just asked for clean towels everyday. The staffs were very helpful and nice. They gave us recommendations for restaurants and tips for parking and transportation. The location is great... 3 mins drive to the beach, 7 mins to Rockport. I would love to stay again at Sea Lion Motel when I visit Gloucester in the future. I loved every moment in Gloucester and Rockport. Thank you."

"We absolutely love these units. The owners are so nice and communication is clear. My one and only suggestion after staying here for a couple years now is please put mirrors in the bedrooms. When you have multiple people trying to shower and get ready every day and only mirror is bathroom or by the front door, it’s a little awkward trying to get ready each day. But overall it’s wonderful and we will be back again!!"

"5 Long Beach Rd property (Beachcomber Cottage)is one of the most comfortable, spacious houses we have rented in Gloucester for many years! We enjoyed walking distance to 2 beaches with easy access to shopping and downtown…also car rental co.The house easily accommodated 4 family members with a large kitchen, dining area, living room and 2 bedrooms on 1st floor and an upstairs”suite” with bedroom, bathroom and game room including ping pong table which provided privacy for my grandson and his wife. The backyard was private, beautifully landscaped and quite a serene place to sit and relax after a day of exploration, as well as a lovely deck on which to enjoy your morning coffee! The area was peaceful and a great getaway to escape the present chaos of modern life. This is a perfect place to unwind, especially after Labor Day and busy summer seasons everywhere!What made renting a house completely across the country(we’re from CA) much less challenging was the communication with hosts and their readiness to answer our questions. One host actually lives in the area and would be readily available to handle any emergencies that might arise! Loved Beachcomber Cottage and hope to return next year! It is a true gem!"

"The house was great and Pete was very communicative. It is an older house so the windows have a hard time closing once you open them and the first floor bathroom jad very pooe water pressure, but other than that, everything was as advertised. Also did not realize that the "hot tub" was the upstairs bathtub with the jets in it. Overall great time though. Loved the large table and extra table in the closet for our boardgames."

"Great little beach house in Rockport and very central for exploring Rockport and Gloucester. Would definitely stay here again. One warning, there is no a/c as listed and even though it’s on the beach you’re still a block away from the water so if it was toasty at night it would be quite warm for sleeping in my opinion. With fans we did just fine but it was pretty warm the first night we were there."

"This house was exactly what we needed for our trip. Comfortable sleeping arrangements for my husband, two young kids and myself. The location was perfect and the beach was a short walk away. The property is located on a main road but I was never bothered by road noise during our stay. Kitchen is small but offers what you need to make easy meals while on vacation. Would recommend to others."
