I paid for my room upon arrival, but was charged two extra pre authorization amounts for no reason. I was told I was paying the full balance for the room which was about $3000 and a further $300 hold would be place for extras. A week after leaving the hotel I still have three pending charges from the Hari hotel adding up to over $10000 CAD. After inquiring with the hotel they told me it was a mistake and there’s nothing that they can do. I’d have to take it up my credit card company. I spent hours on the phone while travelling trying to deal with this issue.
