A fantastic boutique hotel. Kind and attentive staff. Comfortable room and bed. Randomly chosen from Expedia. Lucky for us! One morning there was no hot water. Likely happens as this is a small hotel. This did not affect our very positive experience. Breakfast was just excellent. Not cheap. But worth it.

The location is great, the hotel itself is quiet and chic. The staff is always around to help and make reservations or get car services or wine late at night and super capable to handle any thing we needed at the last minute. Aisha at the front and Michal the concierge were super kind and helpful when it came to getting us reservations. This is my second time staying here recently and have become a huge fan of the hotel.

A hidden gem in London! Stay here, and eat here.

From the very beginning to the end, the staff, the services, the way they take pride in having their guests. It’s perfect, and the restaurant - juat vauw! You have to eat here, the chef is preparing to be Michelin quality ready, and the food is Michelin star quality. The brunch is perfect, and the rooms were perfect too, and the bar it self also. I will stay here again for sure. A I give the Franklin my biggest recommendation, I hope they will receive their Michelin star one day, they deserve it

A beautiful retreat in London

Beautiful hotel in a lovely part of London. The whole hotel was pure elegance. It is a very small hotel which just added to its romantic hideaway appeal. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, something that can be hard to come across in the capital. We could of easily spent all day just relaxing in the hotel bar. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was excellent. We will definitely be returning soon, next time with our son and hopefully for a longer visit.

A truly special experience

We stayed at The Franklin Hotel as a very special treat for our wedding ceremony at Chelsea Registry Office, and it was everything we hoped for and more. Staying in somewhere like Kensington is a very rare luxury for us, so we were looking for somewhere that felt indulgent but not pretentious, and The Franklin was perfect. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly special. They were warm, genuine, and went above and beyond to make our wedding day truly memorable. We were upgraded to a stunning room, and arrived to find bubbles and treats waiting for us—a beautiful and thoughtful touch that meant the world. Everything was prestine, clean and comfortable. The steam room was a highlight and a perfect way to unwind before breakfast, and we even managed to use the gym. We were treated to an incredible breakfast spread brought straight to our room, which made the experience feel all the more luxurious. This was a stay we will never forget, and we’re so grateful to the whole team for making it so magical for us. We truly hope we get the chance to return in the future. Thank you again for making our wedding weekend so special 💛

Uncertain Start, but an Excellent Experience

The booking process was disrupted by problems with the hotel phone system, which cast an air of uncertainty over my stay. In the event, the experience was excellent. A great front of house team and outstanding property.

From the very beginning to the end, the staff, the services, the way they take pride in having their guests. It’s perfect, and the restaurant - juat vauw! You have to eat here, the chef is preparing to be Michelin quality ready, and the food is Michelin star quality. The brunch is perfect, and the rooms were perfect too, and the bar it self also. I will stay here again for sure. And so easy to go back and forth from downtown, without that many people around the hotel, also from Heathrow and back: easy 30 min by metro. I give the Franklin my biggest recommendation, I hope they will receive their Michelin star one day, they deserve it

My husband and I stayed at the Franklin it was perfect! Garden view unbelievably quiet. Great staff very friendly and helpful. Everything about this hotel was top shelf. The staff were highly engaged and helpful. The hotel remains excellently presented and maintained. A small problem on a previous stay had been rectified and particular attention was paid to this matter on my subsequent stay. This was a reassuring demonstration of an attentive management team. Being over-finicky, I happened to drop a coin which rolled under the bed, where I noticed more dust than I would have expected, but this was easily forgiven on an otherwise outstanding experience
