The staff were tremendous. They are trying to make the hotel better. Don't expect a huge room. The rooms are small, hot, and have seen better days. Expedia charged us an exorbitant amount for the room and keep a huge portion.

Sinceramente si lo que buscĂĄis es una cama para poder dormir los dĂ­as que estĂ©is y un baño donde asearos este es el lugar. EstĂĄ bastante cerca de todo y bien comunicado pero la atenciĂłn del staff bastante mala, el espacio muy pequeño. HacĂ­a calor en la habitaciĂłn, la ventana no se podĂ­a abrir pero habĂ­a un ventilador de techo q daba algo de aire. He de decir que estaba todo limpio tanto sabanas como habitaciĂłn y baño. Os recomendarĂ­a este lugar si lo Ășnico q harĂ©is es dormir unas horas pero si esperĂĄis un plus de comodidad no lo tendrĂ©is aquĂ­, es como si alquilaras una habitaciĂłn con baño en una casa turista mĂĄs que un hotel.

CĂŽtĂ© chambre une vraie catastrophe. L exiguitĂ©,le caractĂšre sommaire c'est acceptable mais l Ă©tat de la douche prĂ©sentant un gros trou dans la faience , les toilettes Ă  10cm de la douche bouchant le passage Ă  l ouverture de la porte, le tout trĂšs douteux cĂŽtĂ© propretĂ©. Est Ă  signaler l odeur de moisissures qui oblige Ă  laisser fenĂȘtre ouverte au prix de supporter les eclats de voix aux abords tard dans la nuit, le bruit permanent dans le bĂątiment de pas, de portes etc.. En rĂ©sumĂ© hormis l emplacement, la gentillesse du personnel, je donne un double zĂ©ro

Not recommended

We didn't get the room we paid for, the room was completely inadequate for 4 people. Thick with dust, minimal daylight. No housekeeping. Dodgy lock on the room. Luggage storage not secure. Terrace not cleaned. Staff completely disinterested in issues. The owner and staff do not care about customers and are clearly not suited to hospitality and will impact on Hotels.com reputation.

It's all lies

The photos on Hotels.com are not a true representation of the hotel. It's not rumn by the ladies pictured and there was no sign of a breakfast. Dis-organised and run down it basically served a purpose but I wouldn't stay there agian.

Unfortunately the room was filthy and the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. After mentioning it to reception they asked if they could keep the room key so they could clean the bathroom. We mentioned that we would return late and if the reception would be open for us to get the key back. The answer was that this wouldn’t be a problem. When we returned we realized why it wasn’t a problem. The key was on top of the reception for anybody to take. The location is good, just a short walk to Bayswater Underground and restaurants in the neighborhood. The personnel was very friendly and helpful.

Lit moyennement confortable, mais les draps Ă©taient propres. Garde robe ouvert et au bout du lit. (se cogner la tĂȘte est Ă©vident durant le sĂ©jour) La salle de bain est minuscule, doit s'asseoir de cotĂ© sur la toilette, porte ferme mal. Il n'y avait pas de papier de toilette, il a fallu en demander. La douche n'a pas d'endroit pour tenir le savon ou le shampoing. Aucun entretien de la chambre pendant le sĂ©jour (4 nuits) Pas de changement de serviettes, pas de lit refait, n'y de coup nettoyage de plancher. Mal insonorisĂ© alors on entends trĂšs bien les voisins (mĂȘme Ă  voix basse) Le personnel est trĂšs gentil (ce qui rachĂšte le reste) mais nous ne recommandons pas

Nous avions rĂ©servĂ© 4 jours qui se sont transformĂ©s en galĂšre Ă  cause de ce charmant hĂŽtel qui malheureusement n'est plus tenue comme indiquĂ© sur les photos par 2 anglaise tout Ă  fait charmante car il est en aller auparavant il y a 2 ans. La propretĂ© des communes ainsi que des chambres fait peur Ă  voir. Nous sommes arrivĂ©s Ă  l'hĂŽtel Ă  16h et avons attendu prĂšs d'une heure et demi que le concierge daigne venir aprĂšs une vingtaine d'appel sur son tĂ©lĂ©phone personnel car personne Ă  l'accueil pour nous accueillir. Je dĂ©conseille vivement cet hĂŽtel qui est devenu Ă  la limite de l'insalubritĂ©. L'accueil et le personnel se fout totalement des problĂšmes rencontrĂ©s entre parenthĂšses douche qui qui ne s'Ă©coule pas du tout Ă©vier bouchĂ© au bout de deux brossage de dents bac Ă  douche cassĂ©e et de la moisissure prĂ©sente sur tous les jouets la chambre n'a pas Ă©tĂ© fait durant notre sĂ©jour une seule fois nous sommes quand mĂȘme rester 4 jours. Le wifi n'en parlons mĂȘme pas car ils ne connaissent pas le code . Je dĂ©conseille Ă  toute personne normalement constituĂ© de rĂ©server cet hĂŽtel car voyageant Ă  Londres depuis prĂšs de 10 ans c'est la premiĂšre fois que je vois ça mĂȘme les auberges de jeunesse sont mieux tenu

Awful Never again

Good afternoon I am writing to with reference to my booking of The New Dawn Hotel in Bayswater London, from Monday 31st January-4th February 2022. Firstly this booking was for myself, my five year old daughter and my mother. I have been trying to take my daughter to London from France for over the last two years but due to the pandemic this has not been possible. I obviously went onto your website as I have done on many occasions and always been satisfied in choices made, until this occasion. Firstly we arrived to the hotel around 8.30pm and was greeted (I use this term lightly) by a untrained receptionist, who told us to “wait” whilst she spoke on the telephone to her boss for guidance as to how to process us via your booking which was already booked by myself and paid in full. After waiting for over thirty minutes (my five year old daughter who was extremely tired and hungry) we were shown into room 3 downstairs which was not of a high standard, no wardrobe or chest of drawers to place our clothes. Whilst in this room the receptionist received a call on the telephone from her boss to say that we had only booked one double and a single bed and this room had two doubles. The receptionist then took us upstairs to a really small, extremely hot room, we then asked what time our breakfast was served (which we had paid for) and we were told that  there was no breakfast and this was a mistake. We were told that there were many restaurants nearby, which was no

Budget hotel

It's a budget hotel so you get what you pay for. Checking in was quite the experience, with a huge amount of confusion over keys and available rooms, and I was initially sent to a room that already had guests in, but eventually the manager turned up and sorted everything out. The room was small but comfortable, and the hotel was quiet and felt secure. The room i originally got sent to was at the very top of the building up a narrow winding stair - i'd have struggled if i had much luggage or any sort of mobility issue. In short, fine if you're on a budget, not in a hurry and don't mind small spaces.

A hotel that scams their guests

We arrived at the hotel and had book two double rooms. They tried to give us a double room they had crammed a bunkbed in. We refused - after 30 minutes we were given the rooms we har ordered.. The receptionist and manager was speaking in Arabic to keep their exchange secret, but I speak Arabic so understood their scam. We were then given two double rooms as paid for. One more set of guests arrived, two women wth two small children having booked a quadruple. They were not give a room, and sent away at 11:30 pm. having driven all the way from Northern England - and paid in advance as us!. The sheets in our rooms had not been changed. We asked for clean sheets, were given on set anbd told to change ourselves. Later on we heard three other people had the same experiences. The hotel books more guests than they have room than they have room for and gamble that they can trick or just throw out the guests. Worst hotel ever.

Do not stay here ran down rude staff and dirty!!

We arrived at 4pm to be told we have to wait for our room to be prepared. After 45mins of waiting we asked what was happening as the kids were tried and just waited to relax in the room. We had reserved a double room with a double bed and 2 singles. The manager took us to our room after a hour of waiting we walked in the room and there was someone elses suit cases in the room the manger said that the guest had not checked in yet there for they would give us the room not the 2 single and 1double. I had booked. As soon as we enter the room we could see it was ran down dirty and cold The toilet was filthy with poo down it and per and pubes over it. the bed covers were dirty the window was moldy wouldn't shut as had no handle. I had to asked the manger twice if he could close it after the second time he went out and kicked it close so hard scaring the children. It seemed as no one had no idea what they were doing or had any knowledge of us actually coming as I was asked who I booked with . Telling them Hotels. Com They had no idea we was coming. Didn't feel safe here at all and definitely won't be going back there.

Bra hotell i Bayswater

FrÀscht och billigt boende. Kontinental frukost. Trevlig personal i receptionen. Rummet var lite trÄngt (dubbelsÀng och vÄningssÀng - vi bodde fyra) men det var rent och frÀscht och man Àr ju inte sÄ mycket pÄ hotellrummet att det spelar nÄgon roll. BekvÀma sÀngar och tyst - inga störande grannar. NÀra t-bana och bussförbindelser. Bra restauranger om man gick nerÄt Westbourne istÀllet för Queensland.

Wir waren bereits frĂŒh morgens in London unser Check in im hotel war aber erst ab 14 Uhr. Als wir viel zu frĂŒh ankamen wĂŒrden wir sehr freundlich begrĂŒĂŸt, könnten unsere Koffer in einen Nebenraum anstellen und wir durften uns im FrĂŒhstĂŒcksraum stĂ€rken und Kaffe trinken. Das Personal war sehr nett, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Zimmer waren OK. Klein, etwas schrunkrlig, aber soweit sauber....darf man halt nicht mit Zuhause vergleichen. Der Boiler war kaputt und wir hatten nur kaltes Wasser zu duschen, es wurde unverzĂŒglich repariert. Das FrĂŒhstĂŒck war OK, eben Toast, Kaffe, kĂ€se, Wurst, diverse fertige kĂŒchenreichen und Kekse...alles OK...fĂŒr uns reichte es. Kaffe und kuchenteilchen standen den ganzen Tag parat. Die Lage ist top....man ist sofort in einer kleinen Einkaufsstraße und an den U-Bahn Stationen... Wir kommen so schnell wie möglich wieder ....3 Tage London reicht nicht um alles anzuschauen!
