Pros: Grange Buckingham is in a wonderful, central location. Many attractions are within a 10-30 minute walk. Our room was big, very quiet, and faced the back garden area. The small kitchen had a microwave, sink, tea kettle and a few dishes were perfect for self-catering a few meals. There are several small grocery shops nearby. The staff were all very friendly. Housekeeping tidied our room everyday and brought clean fluffy towels. Cons: This hotel does not have air conditioning. Our room had 2 fans, which combined with open windows at night kept us comfortable during high temps. One of the fans was in rough condition and worked, but did not oscillate without making a loud clicking noise. We asked hotel staff for a replacement or repair, but never got one. Other issues included extremely worn carpet with exposed carpet tacks near edges of the walls, ripped curtains, mold on the bathroom ceiling, broken window hinges with peeling paint, and frayed mattresses box springs. If you are looking for a budget priced centrally located hotel in London and don’t mind a little “character” the Grange Buckingham might be the spot for you.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Grange Buckingham more highly. After a day riding electric bikes, it was lovely to return to our beautiful and spacious room, open a cold bev from our kitchenette fridge and enjoy pate' from their dining options before heading out to see theater. The staff were exceptional. The facility lovely and historic. Highly recommend.

The hotel was very nice. Thankfully our room was ready after our long flight and we were able to check in early! The location was incredible, just a block away from British Museum and very close to the underground. The beds weren’t the most comfortable but everything else about the experience and stay were great!

Comfortable stay, very well serviced and all the amenities were provided! We had a very nice one-night family stay. We enjoyed the location and the quaint feel of the hotel and the room. The property could use some effort in updating the sofa bed that was not the most comfortable (leaned to one side) and also upkeep of carpet, shower.

Very good location in central London close by the Underground. Eventhough it's central location the neighbourhood was quite with almost no noise. Some aspects need maintenance and painting, but overall not bad. We booked a triple bedroom which had a nice big size inclusing kitchionette. Overall service was good with friendly staff.
