The place was run down. The door was partially cracked which made it look like someone had tried to break in. There was broken flooring and baseboards. Walls were dirty. There was a 24 hour bagel shop downstairs which brought many loud people to the area at all hours of the night. The hosts responded to issues we had relatively quickly. Tried to take a shower one night and the water hot water had been mistakenly turned off by the cleaners. When I heard back from the host the following day, I was the one who had to remove the heavy laundry bags to resolve the issue. Overall, the location was cool but the negatives far outweighed that.
