"We were looking for a peaceful escape and this fit the bill. Everything was as described. It’s a bit of a hike through the property to get to the cabin but that’s definitely part of the charm. Saw several animals, enjoyed the pool, and found everything to be relaxing and comfortable. Definitely recommend and will stay again."

"The problem with this rental is a lack of adequate heat. We arrived on a bitterly cold December night a few days before Christmas. Our two adult children stayed with my dad at his house in Goldthwaite and my husband and I rented this house for ourselves, A cold front had blown in. The temperature that night and for the next couple of nights would get down to around 12 degrees. The house was frigid and, to our dismay, there was no central heat.
