"Best managed hotel I ever stayed at. Incredible service everywhere. "
"Being at UBC it has everything one needs.
The rooms are well maintained.
Only slight discomfort is the shower is very small.
Everything else is great about this place.
Plus there is public transportation steps away from Gage. Buses every few minutes to downtown Vancouver. "

Overall very very Happy customer."
"Great location right on the English Bay. Close by to great dining options, including the Greenhorn Cafe. Bus stop right out front. Clean room and friendly staff for a great price. "
"Joann is an absolutely lovely host, and serves a wonderful hot breakfast. The accommodations are reasonably priced, clean and the area is peaceful and quiet. I would recommend the House on Dunbar as an excellent option for a stay in Vancouver."
"The property and booking process was fantastic. My family and I needed a one night stay before our cruise left Vancouver. The property was clean and in a great neighborhood. Highest recommendation!"
Charming 3-bedroom villa with WiFi and AC in amazing Vancouver
8/10 Good
"We enjoy our stay in this lovely older home in a quiet neighborhood about 20 minutes from downtown Vancouver by car. Parking was easy, as was access to the house. The house is as described (well, except we didn't know someone was living in the separate basement...probably worth including in the description so visitors aren't surprised.) There was plenty of room for our family of four. There's a large master bedroom on the first floor and two bedrooms upstairs. Although it wasn't that hot in Vancouver when we visited, the upstairs bedrooms got quite warm during the day. One of them has a portable air conditioner (so a nice addition would be a portable a/c in the other one.)We enjoyed exploring the neighborhood: just a few blocks down the hill are some truly spectacular Vancouver homes with water views. Just a block away are a few restaurants, a Tim Hortons and a Dairy Queen. A 10-minute walk up Dunbar offers more places to eat, a grocery store and a drug store. Overall, we enjoyed our stay."
Enjoy the student vibe with a visit to University of British Columbia, a top university in Vancouver. Discover the beautiful sunsets and shops in this vibrant area.
