"Pool was great! Location is very good, a block away from town square but very quiet comparitively. We only used two bedrooms which was good because one didn't have AC and one didn't smell good, so we kept those two closed. There isn't very comfortable seating in the main living area aside from a 2-seater couch, but we didn't spend a whole lot of time there, so wasn't too big of a deal. There was a water jug with clean water there which was very nice to not have to worry about getting that at the store like many other places. All in all we were very happy. Had a little trouble getting into the front gate when we arrived but manager was helpful and sent someone over to assist. Would stay here again."

"Place is in an area of town that is a little tricky to navigate but it is a short walk to an awesome beach. Town is a little longer walk but totally doable. Consider renting a golf cart to get around town - we had one and it was awesome. We definitely would stay again."

"We had an absolutely wonderful 2-week stay at the Artist's Cove! We were blown away by the beauty all around and proximity to the beach. The home is just steps away from a gorgeous sand beach great for hanging out and swimming, but feels secluded and private due to the gate. The house itself was thoughtfully decorated throughout and had all the amenities we could think to need for cooking and relaxing. The breeze was incredible even in the house, as was the sound of the waves and birds. It was a short walk into the lovely small town and if you don't want to walk there are 4 beachside restaurants literally steps away from the house. Tamera was a great host and very communicative. We'd be happy to stay again!"

"We were only here for 2 nights, but you can’t beat the location. Beach is truly one block away and we so appreciated the chairs and umbrella. Tacos, groceries & eateries are minutes away on foot. Very cute casita, well equipped kitchen. Great place for the budget conscious travellers. "

"Our stay started with the air conditioning not working on the first night, leaving the room at around 35C. The host resolved it the next day.Unfortunately, the bigger issues came afterward. We suddenly had no running water at all — we couldn’t wash our hands, flush the toilet, or take showers. When we contacted the host, he claimed it was a general neighborhood issue and said he would only address it if the problem continued. However, after speaking with neighbors, we confirmed they all had normal water supply.The host eventually arranged a water truck to refill the rooftop tank, but the water pressure remained extremely low — water was barely dripping from the taps. To conserve water, we tried to minimize usage (including 2-minute showers), but the problem returned. This time, the host stopped responding.Because of these repeated and unresolved issues with basic utilities (AC and water), we had no choice but to leave early and book another place at double the cost. We also spent over 5 hours on the phone with VRBO support without a good resolution.This was a very disappointing experience. I cannot recommend this property due to the lack of reliable essentials and poor host responsiveness."
