"There was no hot water for our showers the next day, after our 1-night stay. The first of the 4 of us, stripped off and went to get in the shower but not one drop of hot water, even out of the tap for washing hands. What! That's what an overnight stay is for - a bed and shower, the next morning. Not impressed!"

The property is well maintained, spacious and beautifully presented with clean facilities.If you like to cook there is a well appointed kitchen with plenty of utensils. Beds were very comfortable.Beautiful views of the country side, hills and wildlife. This property offers a very relaxing atmosphere with beautiful views and great amenities"

"A great stay which was private and tranquil. It was exactly what was needed to reconnect and recharge. It was a bit surprising to have reception only in one tiny spot which was difficult and would have been helpful to know. Arriving and not being able to check in on a vulnerable family member from time to time did impact on the stay. If you want to completely disconnect from the world, it’s perfect. If you need reception and to be contactable, this stay isn’t ideal. "

"Staff very pleasant and helpful, everything clean and basic, l saw two bathrooms on the top floor (where l was) although only a single toilet.. fortunately not busy though. Quiet and space to walk and access facilities, beautiful old building with high ceilings and huge balcony. I will revisit! Historical experience indeed! "
