We enjoyed our stay at Lisbon Amid Saldanha Hotel. This was our final night at the tail end of a Month long visit to Portugal, and we chose the Mid Saldanha, We have visited Lisbon several times and always like to experience a different area of this fascinating city. The hotel does not offer on site parking, although there were spots on the street. Fortunately, Europecar is located just around the corner and we dropped off our rental prior to check in. We were able to leave our small luggage while your room was readied, and enjoyed a pizza and wine at the on site bar/restaurant. Our room was very nice, and had we been staying longer we would have booked something larger. As it were, the room was completely satisfactory, with mini fridge, desk and two chairs. Hotel information is presented on the television with everything you need to know. The bathroom was nice, with walk in shower, and bed was comfortable, making for a nice one night stay. Best of all, the metro station was just a short walk, and a couple of stops takes you directly to the airport. There were restaurants and cafes in this very nice area of Lisbon, as well as Pingo Dolce restaurant and cafe.

This is a lovely hotel, I would definitely recommend if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Lisbon. It’s not directly in the city centre but close to public transport so can easily go from place to place. The hotel was clean, modern, breakfast was good it had a good selection from hot to cold food.

Generous breakfast buffet despite fact that there seem to be very few guests. Many cable channels from which to choose Virtually no amenities in room like tissues Housekeeping seems to visit around 4 pm which is inconvenient

The hotel is average. Nothing stands out as great or poor. However, the service can be improved. The front desk guys are not personable and the woman who runs the restaurant has poor people skills.

Stay Away from Restaurant
Front desk staff was efficient but not personable or welcoming. The cleaning staff was good. The woman servicing the restaurant needs to learn customer service. She is not friendly and can be rude in her communication. On the second night, I ordered room service 20 minutes prior to the service ending, but she told me she didn't want to bother the cook.

I paid for breakfast but my flight was scheduled to leave early. I was told they couldn't refund the separate breakfast charge and that I would have to await a manager to call. I was directed to the breakfast area anyway and the breakfast crew was openly coughing, sneezing and handling food with not sanitary wipes, napkins, or tissues. I was disgusted and will not join the hotel again. There was a puncture in the wall with ripped wall paper. The bathroom did not have Kleenex refilled.

It was disappointed that regardless of sending an email 2 weeks prior we did not have any opportunity for an early check in. We arrived at 9:00 AM and were giving a room around 3:30 pm. I understand check in is at 3:00 but I was expecting some flexibility and consideration. Several broken pieces in the bathroom and the AC was not cool enough. It was hard to get the room at a confortable temperature. The area is great and the hotel is beautiful but I wish we would had been helped with the check in.

Had a room with a balcony and furniture but no cushions which was very uncomfortable to sit on. Also the bar courtyard is smoking so cigarette smoke chimneys right on to the balcony.All together a good stay.

Excellent choice for staying in Lisbon. The area is very quiet and more business and tourist so you don’t have the crazy amounts of noise or traffic. Extremely close to the metro so you can easily move throughout the city. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating. The hotel was clean and had good amenities. Would gladly stay there again.

The location is really good for three different metro lines. Very close to the largest department store in the area. Not far from the airport as well. The room is clean and spacious, lovely decor specially for special occasions. Thank you. We had a lovely stay.

We got there at 8 am and we understand that check in was at 3 pm so we waited in the lobby and we keep asking the receptionist. We did not get our room until 3:30 pm. Other customers got there room before us. It’s so unprofessional and inconvenient for us.

Amazing Stay!
Me and my partner booked a mini holiday in Lisbon, and we were looking for a hotel with a decent distance between the Airport and the main city centre. Omid Saldanha was perfect for this! On top of the great location, the room was modern and very clean. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The bugget breakfast was excellent. Overall our stay at Omid Saldanha was amazing. We definitely recommend!
