Deliciously warm shower (I think: the only one in South America)! Freshly painted rooms, good beds, clean & well-appointed. For some reason, a street FULL of superb little Peruvian seafood restaurants. What's not to love?

Close to airport. Lots of good plces to eat nearby. Ariel and Sonia were wonderful. I will stay there in the future. Recomend it also

The area kinda scared me but in daylight I realized it was industrial warehouses and not too bad. Husband and wife mgmt seemed nice. Rang doorbell and he opened door fast. Nice shuttle van to go back to airport. Still, I wish I had paid up for holiday inn by airport.

The neighborhood is a suburbian area close to the airport. The enviroment is quiet, because its a familiar place. we also wish you paid up for a stay in holiday inn. regards

Very basic, but nice and clean place to stay for great price. I used to for a long layover between the planes and it was perfect. Owner also offered drop off to the airport for half a price!

Owners are very nice, 20 soles early morning 2 people for airport. Very basic but very cheap. TV needs to be replaced. Just use it for airport proximity. Very noisy from the traffic.

Excelent for a layover near the airport
I stayed for a coupple of hours during a layover in Lima. I think the hotel is right for this purpuse. Quiet, clean, and convenient for the price of a shared room in another place, you get here your own private room and bathroom. It's 10 min for airport and if you call them, they can pick you up and drop off in the airport for an extra fee (very safe, highly recommendable).There are also some restaurants to eat in the same block (no need to even crossing the street!) Neighborhood looks decent although I haven't explored too much around. I'll consider it for future layovers as I travel a lot from USA to South America

It is a hostel, but rooms are for individual use and with their own bathrooms. It is clean and comfortable enough. For the price, it is an incredible value.

Broken toilet seat, uncomfortable bed, grungy floors and bathroom, giant ugly child's crib that took up half the room, overall very poor condition. The owners were nice and accommodating, no complaints there. It worked fine as a one-night stopover stay but I would not recommend it to someone staying longer than that.

Great experience
Very good small hostel. Room and bathrooms were very clean. Staff is very very friendly. Location of the hostel is good and great for if you have a flight since its close to the airport. Definitely recommend staying here!

wonderful view from dinning room of mountains cuzc
walk to center is down hill and easy,however after a full day exploring the city the return climb back up to the hotel proved challenging. the altitude change was something that never came up when scheduling this trip. i'm 59 years old and in excellent shape. Took several tests on what can't be more than 5 city blocks

Close to Lima airport
This hotel is very close to the airport. However, the floor in our room was dirty. The water was only lukewarm. We were told by the front desk to wait for 30 minutes but still no hot water came out. We had no choice but to take a quick shower.

This hotels doors were locked when I arrived with my family. For a half hour, they did not answer the phone, nor have they to date replied to my email regarding how they stranded us after a very long flight.

Nice hostel close to the airport
Close to the airport for a night sleep to get the airport early in the next day. Clean and cosy. Hostel located in residential zone, quiet.

Great price for quick stay
Hostel is definitely bare bones but was perfect for my quick stay of 1 night. I used their car service to/from airport ($10 each way - which seems a little high given its only a few minutes away). The driver was nice/accommodating as well as the gentleman who checked me in - this is why I rated them as a 3 overall - the people made up for the minimalistic condition.

Perfect for budget travelers - close to airport!
Perfect for budget travelers who wants accommodation within close proximity to the airport(5 minutes). Bright and cheery painted private clean room, comfortable bed, hot shower water, television, there are convenient restaurants along the block and a supermarket at the corner plus reasonably priced shuttle service. This is a family-run hostel, very hospitable owners who will try their best to help travellers. We look forward to staying here again the next time we are in Lima.

Bad fish smell
We had 8 hours layover and thought it wasn't a bad idea to find a place nearby to take a nap. The room we were assigned to was at the end of the hallway, with windows facing out. The whole room became super smelly in the early morning, with strong smell of bad fish or other seafood. Closing all windows didn't help. There were people singing all night... We escaped to the airport and took a good nap there on the chairs. So good that those chairs had no arms. The stuff was nice and helpful. Maybe we were just too unlucky to be assigned to that room. That room should definitely be avoided

Nice place for overnight stay near lima airport
My stay was an overnight connection through Lima. The hotel at the airport would have cost around $170 while this was $42 including shuttle service. The hotel is in good shape with a huge selection of TV channels and hot water (not always a given in Peru). There is limited things to do in the neighborhood but there is a huge supermarket and some restaurants within 2 blocks. Overall, a good, much cheaper alternative for a 1 night stay near the airport. It is only about 10 minute taxi ride. Also, they offer shuttle service for 25 sol each way making it very convenient.

Worked Well for our 10-hour stay in Lima
While not very clean, our room and beds were comfortable. I don't think we had hot water for a shower at 3am, but we may have not let the water run long enough to find out for sure. Wi-Fi access in the hostel was very good, with a strong signal, and relatively fast speeds. We received an email that offered a ride from the airport to the hostel for $9 or 25 soles (each way). The "taxi" was pretty beat up,but the driver was on-time, and waiting for us at the airport. In addition, we left the hostel at 3:30am, and the taxi driver was there and ready at 3:15am. All in all, we were satisfied with our stay at the Kurmi hostel - a good place to get some rest before our long flights back to the US.

Well, close to the airport but not a good stay. Room was not very clean, floor was worn and looked dirty. Bathroom was basic. Be sure to travel with shower flipflops. Noise echoes from lounge so couldn't get to sleep til 2 am. Airport pickup (one way) was a bit pricey at 25 soles ($9 USD). Breakfast and nice older couple who served it were the only redeeming aspects.

Run by a very nice family, the husband WHO is the driver waited patiently for me despite my plane being 30 minutes late. Have already recomended to my friends with an layover in Lima. Ok place to crash in between planes
We had a plane landing in Lima at 10:00 PM and the next one taking off at 6:30AM, so I looked for a cheap hotel close to the airport to spend a few hours. We didn't spend more than a few short hours... The place was clean, neighborhood sketchy... But the owner sent us an email a day before offering to send a driver to pick us up at the airport, which we accepted. The driver was there on time and took us to the hotel.

Perfect Airport Transit hotel
Had a late flight into Lima and quick turn around the next day. Didn't make sense to drive far and pay a lot for 6hrs of sleep.

`Perfect layover
Kurmi is brand new so it is very clean, cheerfully and newly painted. The staff was friendly and the continental breakfast was adequate. There was hot water tho the water pressure varied a bit. Some noise about 7 AM. We arrived into Lima about 10 PM and did not want to sleep in the airport to await our flight to Cuzco in the morning. This was perfect because it is close to the airport, so no need to wade through Lima traffic to other neighborhoods.--My only criticism is that Peru is having such a problem with plastic water bottles and so all hotels should provide pure water in the lobby so that visitors can refill their own water bottles. This hotel does not do this.

Nice, clean room
This hotel is located about 10 minutes from the airport. For the rate, it sure beats a night at the airport. We had our own bathroom, with hot water. There was complimentary hot breakfast. The hostel had free wifi, which was a major plus. If you come in on a late flight, and have a connection in the morning, consider staying here.

Great for a night
Spent about 7 hours total at this hostel after flying in late and then off to Cusco early the next morning. Convenient airport shuttle in an interesting subcompact car cost $9 each way. Helpful English-speaking staff and a decent restaurant below with friendly service. Not much to do nearby from a tourist's protective but good for what we needed
