"It is a great family hotel. I felt like I visited uncle Angelo in his own house, where all family is happy to see you and help you. Good and clean rooms, excellent view. Morning breakfast is better than in many well advertised hotel chains. Restaurant is a gem, with excellent food and service. We will surely come and stay in the hotel again."

"I don’t normally leave such detailed reviews, but in this case, it’s definitely warranted. Where do I even begin? The Mandarin Oriental, Lake Como was absolutely incredible and, without question, one of the highlights of our entire trip to Italy! We were travelling through Italy and booked only two nights at the Mandarin, but if we were planning the trip again, we would definitely stay at least one night longer. The hotel lived up to its name, which is synonymous with exceptional service, attention to detail, and over the top luxury. As breathtaking as the property is, though, what stood out most was the service and the way the staff made us feel throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, everyone was warm, welcoming, and attentive. Even more impressive, the staff members we met during check-in made a point of greeting us personally whenever they saw us again. Those small touches made a lasting impression and are exactly what separates great service from truly exceptional hospitality. Everything about our stay, from our room and the food to the floating pool and the spa, felt special. We were genuinely sad when it was time to leave and wished we had booked that extra night. The Mandarin delivered exactly the experience we had hoped for and somehow exceeded it. If you’re considering staying here, do it! It’s definitely a splurge, but for us, it was worth every penny. Next time we’re in Lake Como, we’ll absolutely be back, and staying longer! 5+++ stars!"

"Villa Martina is spectacular. The pictures don't do it justice. The first floor is much bigger and more spacious than the pictures show. There is a professional kitchen which is not shown in the pictures also.The owners were very communicative throughout the process and are genuinely good people. Matteo in particular was genuinely concerned that we enjoy our stay and was very attentive. They were also very helpful in giving us options re various individuals to provide services during our stay. Each recommendation was great and they were all very fair and professional people.We had a small wedding on the property and given the view and the layout it was perfect for the event. The grass area with the plant trellis was an excellent spot for the ceremony. It provides a lot of decorating opportunities and is very intimate. We had 15 guests and the couples and individual guests each had their own bedroom with a private ensuite bathroom. There are lounge areas on the third and fourth floor that give the guests areas to relax in multiple places in the house. The elevator provided guests on the top floors with an easy way to get their luggage to their room.The outside is also spectacular. The pool, boat doc, and shaded sitting areas make for a wonderful experience. The places is laid out for an indoor, indoor/outdoor or completely outdoor weddings or gatherings. We had formal sit down meals indoors and outdoors during our stay.Perfect villa!"

"Il est indéniable que la vue est magnifique une fois sur place. De toutes les pieces, on a une magnifique vue sur le lac de Côme. La maison est bien agencée et plutôt bien équipée.Il serait bon de préciser qu'il n'y a pas de parking sur place contrairement à ce qui est indiqué dans l'annonce. On ne peut se garer qu' à environ 10 minutes de la maison et il faut ensuite monter à pied. Il y a bien 1 lit double et 3 lits simples. Nous étions 6 et le 6eme lit est un lit de camp. Nous aurions aimé connaître cette précision aussi car cela n'est pas le mème confort.La maison est dans un style ancien ce qyi n'est pas du tout gênant pour une maison de vacances. Pour autant, certains matériels de cuisine mériteraient d'être remplacés."

"PIECE OF HEAVEN!! My partner and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay at this beautiful villa! The host was so kind and welcoming, and also speaks English in case visitors do not speak Italian. The villa itself was built decades ago, so you get the beautiful historic feeling of the villa. But the bathrooms and shower are all updated and modernized. The complimentary breakfast was delicious! The villa is situated right in front of Lake Como, so you get the best view of the lake! Our room came with a balcony where we sat and enjoyed the lake view. The property was so well kept and organized! We did have to share a shower with another guest, but honestly it was not inconvenient at all as we barely saw the other guest. The area itself is quiet and family friendly. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT!!"

"There is nothing anyone can possibly say negative about this property. From the moment of arrival it was exclusivity and luxury at its finest. We had the most basic room in the Villa and I could not have asked for anything more. Giovanni showed us around the property upon arrival and answered every possible question we had... we felt like we had our own personal concierge. We have already planned to return. One tip, dont stay at any hotels after this one... it will automatically feel like a disappointment!"
