"The cabin was well stocked and cared for. We loved relaxing in front of the fireplace and walking through the wooded neighborhood. Close enough to Great Barrington to make visit it not a chore and far enough to get away from everything! We will be coming back in the future. "

"Just FYI, we didn't go during the ski season or do any skiing. I marked the skiing as 5 stars only because I had to fill it in and didn't want to undermining the overall score. The house is lovely and the kitchen is well stocked. Two nest thermostats make setting the temperature fairly straightforward. The only downside of the property is that there's no bathroom on the first floor, which is where one of our daughters was sleeping. Otherwise, it was a lovely house with great art, comfortable furniture, an unusually well appointed kitchen, and a friendly owner. We'd go back. "

"It’s a beautiful cabin, attentive host, nice hot tub and fireplace, and basement tv room. I would easily give five stars except that there were a lot of dead bugs in the cabin (though it’s in the woods it’s more than I would expect of a place just cleaned), and there are a LOT of personal/family photos all over the house. Not a few - dozens, on pretty much every wall, table, surface. And the master bedroom had all of the owners things and clothes in the dressers, nightstands, closet, even some dirty clothes in the hamper. While none of this ruined our trip (we still had a very nice time and it is a beautiful place), all the photos and personal stuff made it feel a bit awkward at times."

"The best week in autumn with 8 college girlfriends that gather annually, college friends from the 1970's. The house and its sitting areas and pool/grounds were perfect. The beds were amazing, best mattress ever! "
