"This is the perfect waterfront cottage, comfortable, with everything you need. Easy launching of paddle boards and kayaks. Nestled close to excellent hiking trails. In late August, the lake is quiet and serene. One of my favorite places to be. Sunrise float/paddling is one of the highlights for me."

"Easy check-in. House is comfortably furnished - excellent kitchen supplies. Updated kitchen and bath including appliances. Very comfortable beds and wonderful outdoor deck including sun umbrella. Extremely clean. Close to Great Barrington with easy access to surrounding area. Circular driveway so need to back out into road. Just was very accommodating and responsive. Very good WiFi"
"Wonderful 19th century inn! We had a spacious corner room with pullout sofa. We enjoyed sitting out on the beautiful balcony. Comfortable, relaxing, quiet stay. As long as you are not expecting a modern, chain-brand property, and have a car, you will enjoy this place! Note, The Old Inn is almost 2 miles from the delicious breakfast spot and about a 16 minute drive to Great Barrington, which is the closest town. There is no lobby or front desk (or tv or coffee maker, etc in room) as one would find in a typical hotel. So if you are looking to wake up and grab a coffee in the lobby or walk across the street to a coffee shop, you’ll need to rethink your game plan. That said, this was a fabulous, relaxing stay in the countryside. Really enjoyed. "
