Sit on the expansive front porch and contemplate that you are on an island in the Pacific with a view of Maui in the distance. Feed the animals with pellets provided by the owner. When the breeze gets quite cool, you can build a fire in the stone fireplace with wood provided by the owner. I did not cook, so I cannot comment on that experience. Instead, the charming little town of Havi is easy to access with excellent fare at the Kohala market. For the adventurous, there is sky-diving nearby, or just feed your soul relaxing at the lodge."
