"Had a nice stay here in Hawi without completely breaking the bank, tho I do miss the old funky hotel that used to be a brothel. This was considerably more comfy, if pricier. Still a decent price. Nice people, right around the corner from the main area of shops in town so coffee and meals were simple. Great option."

"We love this lodge and stay here every time we are in Waimea, at least annually. The views from the spacious rooms are a gorgeous sight in the mornings. The staff are efficient, the parking and wifi free. The bathroom is also spacious. The location can't be beat, it's convenient and central to the quaint town.
You will have a little noise from the upper units if you are in the bottom units, but the town is quiet and we have not had any terribly loud neighbors. Also, the area is rural and the water pressure is a bit weak.
Regardless of those minor things, we absolutely love this little gem."
Luxury 4BR Estate with Ocean Views, Pool, Slide & Gourmet Kitchen: Waipio Heaven

"Incredible views! Seeing it in person is just amazing. We had a group of 4 adults and 3 kids that stayed here and we all fit comfortably. Clean, spacious and a great, responsive host. The pool was also amazing! It was like finding a swimming hole in the middle of a rainforest and the slide was a hit for the kids. The outdoor shower in the master suite was one of my favorite parts of the house. I didn’t think I would like it but it was so relaxing out there, especially at night with the moon peeking through the trees. If you have younger kids, here are a few things to be aware of: the main house has the master bedroom and the “secret room”. We didn’t feel the secret room was a safe option for our youngest (steep stairs, mezzanine style loft with pony walls and very high bed). The other 3 bedrooms are accessed by walking outside across the patio. Great rooms over there! But if you’re wanting to stay in the master and kids to stay in other rooms, you’ll be separated. So keep that in mind when considering bedroom set up with younger kids. Other things to note: the little town of Honoka’a is cute but half the stores/restaurants were closed even during their “open” hours. You need to drive quite a bit to get to other things not right there in that very small town. You also need to drive to get to most beaches. The black sand beach that is right there was closed when we went unfortunately. Let’s be honest though, we didn’t want to leave this house very much anyways!!"
"Everything was great and everyone was super nice and friendly. Beautiful property and the pool and food were great as well. The view of the ocean was spectacular."
"Loved everything about our stay. Spacious and clean room, beautiful view, lovely pool area. Pool bistro food was meh. Staff very helpful when we had a little inconvenience arise. Highly recommend!"

"The room was very clean and what I expected with an ocean view, well laid out, once we got the hang where to go, the tram was the main trans portion for the 1st few days until we got the lay of the property. All the employees are very friendly as well as other customers that we talked to. The dolphin area was awesome as well as the pools and we also got to see sea turtles. We took the shuttles to the shopping centers at least once a day, the drivers where very friendly also. My last day we got picked up from the room taken to the front lobby where we front desk employees called and had a Taxi driver waiting to take us to the airport. I enjoyed every bit of my stay."
"Best location on the island, fully stocked kitchen, extremely gracious and helpful live-in property manager, and very private- but the best part was the porch and outdoor shower! It would be hard to find a better outdoor shower location on this planet…we all LOVED our stay here!"
