"The view from the kitchen with the sunrise over the lake as I drank my morning coffee was breathtaking. They had everything I needed, although I always bring my own pots and pants because my daughter has celiac… The host was wonderful and always answered right away..there are even boats to use a fun pub (cheap uber ride) that has karaoke. And grocery nearby there’s even a little park that kids can play in. I would definitely return."

"Nice place, clean and tidy. Easy, would stay again. It’s in a little industrial bit, far enough out but parking easy. So would need car, but nothing wow, but a nice easy place to get some rest. Balcony was a nice size,nothing to look at, but good."

"I am EXTREMELY fussy with the cleanliness of my surroundings and I was instantly impressed with the unit in this regard. It was also tastefully decorated, and very well stocked with the basic essentials, including cleaning products. I found the mattress gave me the support I needed to avoid back issues. Again, the cleanliness of the bedding and towels was outstanding. I did not have a vehicle, so I cannot comment on the driving and/ or parking. On occasion, there was some noise from above (squeaking floor boards/draining water), but not in the nighttime hours. People have to live, and as a solo traveler, I found it reassuring to know someone was close by.I would not hesitate to stay here again and/ or recommend it to future Lanford visitors."

"This property was spectacular. The lake setting, the house, the deck, the barge... all just made for a serene, beautiful, and relaxing girls trip. So quiet and both sunrise and sunset were amazing.Downtown Victoria was only a 15 minute drive away and we very much enjoyed our time there. "

"This property was the nicest and best thought-out VRBO rental that I have ever stayed in. The communication with the owners was exceptional and they went out of their way to help us out. The home was immaculate and well designed with very comfortable accommodations and homey touches. The kitchen was well stocked, as was the linen closet and bathroom accessories. The outdoor spaces were lovely and it truly felt like you were in your own little world when you were outside. It was close to stores to pick up necessities and the owners even have loyalty cards to help with some savings. I couldn't recommend this rental enough and would absolutely stay here again- and would even consider it for a long term rental. Thank you for a lovely stay in beautiful Victoria!"
