Absolutely perfect! Kevin and Tracey have created such a lovely B&B. The decor, the extra touches like plenty of coffee and tea choices in the room, lovely furnishings, breakfast so lovingly made and Kevin and Tracey are so lovely. They’ve gone the extra mile and have given us the perfect stay. Close to shops and restaurants, transport and lake ferries. We could not have asked for a nicer experience.

The fell rooms was an absolutely stunning place to stay in Ambleside. The rooms were incredible, so clean and well thought out. The little extras such as biscuits, a fan in the room and heated towel rails made such a positive difference in our experience. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and we really enjoyed our stay here.

I liked the recent renovations, decor style, old fashioned wooden windows easy to open, the stone building, the very nice served breakfast.

Fabulous country house BnB just a 15 minute stroll from Ambleside’s pubs and restaurants. Very clean, great breakfast and easy parking.

A beautifully decorated house, extremely clean and well appointed with tea, coffe and biscuits in rooms. Breakfast is outstanding with local produce and home made muesli and fruit salad, plus award winning marmalade made by Giles. Plenty of parking and a short walk to the centre of town. Andrea is cheerful, efficient and caring at breakfast time

It is a beautiful Pub in a stunning location. Lovely staff good food , lovely modern comfortable clean rooms

We had a pleasant stay. The room is big, clean and tidy. All the staffs are friendly and courteous. Susan at the reception made us feel very welcome. Breakfast is generous and good. We have no issue with carpark although it is on a first come first serve basis. Highly recommended.

Lakeview is an easy walk into town but feels like you are out in the country. It is an original stone house with renovated ensuite bathrooms while retaining original features. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is a great supply of different teas, biscuits, a chocolate each night and decent toiletries. Breakfast was simple but tasty. It was a wonderful stay.

Breakfast was very tasty and a nice wide window of 8am-10:15am which was great when on holiday. Great location walking distance to everything.

Very well appointed large room with a new bathroom. Coffee maker and kettle as well as some yummy treats .great service including help with your bags.we enjoyed a drink in the bar and a delicious evening meal. Highly recommend for a stay in the lakes district

We thoroughly enjoyed our six night stay at the Salutation Hotel based right in the heart of Ambleside. The room was quite spacious and well appointed with views over the town. service was very pleasant and helpful and the included breakfast was of a high standard. Parking was sometimes a bit tight but we always managed a spot. there are many excellent restaurants close by and, of course, Ambleside is a good central location from which to explore the Lakes. highly recommended.

Loved the location, right on the Lake and the comfy homey feel, almost felt like we weren't actually staying in a Hotel. The staff were very warm and welcoming , we would definitely stay here again.

I thought the parking was expensive considering we stayed next door at Rothay Garth for free and breakfast was included
