"The location to the castle is 2 nd to none. A 5 minute walk is all it takes to be at the castle. We booked for Bastille Day. Spent the day walking around . We had lunch then returned to 514 , showered and changed. Returned to the castle for supper . Watched the fireworks display which was breathtaking. Fantastic location.The room was clean and equipped with fridge, 2 ring hob, microwave, coffee maker ( one pod machine and also a filter machine) Well worth a visit and great value for money."

"This hotel exceeded our expectations. The bathroom came with a tub. Bathroom was spacious. The water pressure was amazing. The breakfast was excellent.
The hotel has an amazing view of the citadel. We did not have a room with a view but many rooms have full view of the citadel.
The only minor issue was the room was a little too tight with not much room for our luggage.
We recommend this hotel. "

"I booked this hotel at the last minute and was extremely pleased with my choice. The hotel lobby was large, clean, and inviting, and the receptionist was friendly and very helpful. Our room was large and clean, and the bathroom sparkled. The accommodation was excellent! The downside however was the restaurant. Our dinners were expensive, bland, and the choices were limited at the buffet counter. The service was good, which helped mitigate an otherwise negative experience.
I highly recommend this hotel, but would suggest dining elsewhere. "

The location is a great base for exploring the region and Carcassonne itself. The host Mirta communicated promptly and was very helpful. There is a supermarket and shopping centre less than 5 minutes away which was useful for us. Would recommend. "
