"Hotel Les Nevons is a 3-star hotel which could so easily be made into a 4-star. The staff were excellent to deal with both in person and over the phone, cheerful, helpful and happy to speak English if required. The hotel offers a typical French breakfast buffet, has gated on-site parking and a small bar is open until 8:30. The location is excellent being just a 2 minute walk away from Quai Jean Jaures where the majority of shops and restaurants are located. I can recommend the excellent Polpette restaurant for evening meals. Sadly, the hotel looks neglected and is badly in need of a refresh. The rooms are clean but look a little tired, the exterior needs repainting and the garden area is let down by a graveled area covered in weeds and the rusty tables and chairs. A quick note on L'isle sur la Sorgue itself: Beyond the Quai Jean Jaures and a few other streets leading to the large church there is very little to see here and it's all a bit run down. The twice weekly street markets are fun but it's definitely not the 'must see' destination I had been led to believe. A day trip here is plenty. In summary, the Hotel Les Nevons is fine for a short stay which is all you'll need."
