Beautiful property and room with very accommodating staff- it was a bit disappointing that we were asked to pay 25 euro each to access the sauna and steam room for the very short amount of time we spent in there, particularly since they were nothing overly special, but we enjoyed our stay overall
This beautiful property is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the wonderful environment that surrounds it. The amenities, gardens and views from the property are amazing.
A little far from the Gordes town but they offer a free shuttle service.
Great location & outdoor. Staff is nice. But the looks quite old, from our point of view it is a good 4 stars but definitely not worth 5, and the price is not justified.
Magical gardens to stroll through. Gastronomy Cuisine delicious and the Matradee amicable and informative. You would not know Mistral winds were houling outside. Felt comfy and safe.
I rated the stay lower purely because of the service: only one person at the reception could speak English; if you needed help to find something in the hotel, almost nobody was around; we had strong wind during our stay (which of course is unpredictable), but when we stayed by the pool, several sun lounges and mattresses were taken away by the wind, and a big plant pot broke with the wind very close to the pool and no staff was around to attend to any of this for around 2 hours…; when we arrived to check in it was around 2:30pm, and they couldn’t cater for a hot lunch, they only offered 4 cold salad types and the food was extremely average, the bread was very dry and didn’t feel like a good quality lunch.
Considering the above points, we found it a bit shocking for a hotel with the 5 star standing. On the plus side, the hotel itself is very nice and the views are great.
The hotel grounds and room are beautiful as ever. Service was average except in the restaurant which was both very expensive and absolutely terribly decayed since our last stay several years ago. We were served dishes at dinner that had no resemblance to menu description. Ordinary salmon was described as gravlax. After long and specific discussion with our waiter about cheeses we liked and did not like as well, identical cheese plates arrived to my wife and myself that in no way reflected the preferences we had talked through. We did not return for dinner to the once lauded hotel restaurant, but then found each morning the eggs offered for breakfast were cold and tasteless. To be fair the breads and yogurts were superb and plentiful, but we had experienced and expected much better food and service after past stays at Les Bories. Without changes in management care and ambition, we are unlikely to return to what had been a source of real pleasure in prior years.
We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Les Brie and Spa. It was tranquil with a breathtaking view to boot. Wish we could stay longer and look forward to our return next time soon.
This hotel is absolutely stunning with all you could ask for from being a quick drive into Gordes and near many amazing little towns to an enormous exterior & interior pool, multiple picturesque places to dine and has its own spa!
Though only there for one overnight stay, the property is absolutely gorgeous, staff was very courteous and the rooms were perfect. Afternoon tea was great as was the breakfast.
There are 5 star hotels closer to Gordes but Les Bories is only a short drive away and a beautiful property with nice views, so no real sacrifice. Our room was very comfortable, breakfast very good, and one dinner we had was excellent. Staff are wonderful. Highly recommend this resort.
Beautiful property . Everything very scenic, great pools and excellent food and restaurants. Staff very helpful, particularly at reception. Anais was the receptionist we saw most; she was exceptional, as were the others we dealt with.
