This hotel was a beautiful sanctuary in Kyoto. The foyer and lounge were spacious and luxurious, and the generous buffet breakfast and complimentary drinks and snacks in the lounge were a highlight. Our room was smaller than we expected, but everything was impeccably clean, modern and well planned. Highly recommend.

Nice sized and comfortable rooms with a stylish reception area, daily โ€œactivitiesโ€ and a โ€œpremium loungeโ€ available to all guests with snacks and, after 17:00, alcoholic drinks. Good area of Kyoto with easy access to transport and the market. Only minor weakness is the lack of a hotel bar or anywhere really to sit and have a coffee or drink after 21:00 hours following a day of โ€œtemple hoppingโ€.

Stylish hotel conveniently located with lots of small eateries and kombinis within walking distance and a large supermarket downstairs. The rooms are a good size and the beds are comfortable but could do with better pillows.

Nice hotel, a lot of money went to the lobby. So the rooms were small we stayed in a 3 person room and you could not open 3 suitcase simultaneously. So if youโ€™re traveling with family take that into consideration!
