This hotel was a beautiful sanctuary in Kyoto. The foyer and lounge were spacious and luxurious, and the generous buffet breakfast and complimentary drinks and snacks in the lounge were a highlight. Our room was smaller than we expected, but everything was impeccably clean, modern and well planned. Highly recommend.

Stylish hotel conveniently located with lots of small eateries and kombinis within walking distance and a large supermarket downstairs. The rooms are a good size and the beds are comfortable but could do with better pillows.

Nice sized and comfortable rooms with a stylish reception area, daily “activities” and a “premium lounge” available to all guests with snacks and, after 17:00, alcoholic drinks. Good area of Kyoto with easy access to transport and the market. Only minor weakness is the lack of a hotel bar or anywhere really to sit and have a coffee or drink after 21:00 hours following a day of “temple hopping”.

This is my 5th time in Kyoto and Ruchmond hotel was the best one I stayed. *Location is convenient with next door "Fresh" (Supermarket) *Staffs are Friendly and Fluent in English *Using check-in/out machine was Easy *Breakfast is ONE OF A KIND!!!!!!!!!!!! Will definitely come back again

Richmond hotel

Nice hotel, a lot of money went to the lobby. So the rooms were small we stayed in a 3 person room and you could not open 3 suitcase simultaneously. So if you’re traveling with family take that into consideration!

Wir hatten ein sehr großes Zimmer, alles war sehr sauber, ordentlich. Ich liebte den Geruch, der schon im Aufzug zur Lobby zu riechen war, es gab einem immer ein noch besseres Gefühl, wieder „Heimzukommen“. Wir haben es sehr genossen, dass wir am Nachmittag mit Kaffee und Tee und leichten Snacks stärken konnten und liebten die Social Hour am Abend (Snacks, Getränke, gute Atmosphäre). Personal professionell, das Frühstück ist für mich besonders hervorzuheben. So wunderbar zubereitet, lecker, frisch. Und ich habe noch nie ein so gutes Omelette gegessen bzw. Jemanden mit so viel Passion und Ausgeglichenheit ein Omelette zubereiten sehen. Ein herzlicher Dank an die gesamte Küche! Und ganz besonders im Herzen bleiben wird mit die Mitarbeiterin, die uns morgens zum Frühstück häufig empfangen hat. Sie hat ein Lächeln und eine so wundervolle Art, dass die Sonne noch mehr scheint und es direkt ins Herz geht :) Leider habe ich vergessen, nach ihrem Namen zu fragen. Wir würden sehr gerne wieder kommen.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt! Tolles Ambiente bei der Einrichtung bis zum Frühstück japanische Tradition auf Moderne trifft. 최근에 지어진 호텔이라 그런지 방도 넓고 쾌적하고 좋았어요! 침구류 푹신했고용 1층에 마트와 3층 라운지 이용할수 있는게 진짜 장점이예요. 교토 성수기인데도 이정도 금액으로 만족하게 이용할수 있는 곳은 거의 없을거라고 생각해요
